Most amazing so far .. Nicaragua.. so many volcanoes.. joint first with Borneo for its amazing wildlife and its respectful eco tourism ethos.

Next stop.. Patagonia to the Andes.

So far the winners are: Galapagos and rain forest in Ecuador, Egypt for the diving in the Red Sea and historic valley of the kings, Barcelona for the architecture.

Jordan, Jamaica, Seville and Poland are my favs. The Maldives also pretty special. Places I’d like to go I’ve not been - Peru, Budapest, Sri Lanka and safari in the Masi Mara.

I dont know much about Poland, does it have lots of beaches like Croatia?

Jamaica is on the list, it just feels like somewhere you must visit

The Maldives seem amazing

I’ve always wanted to travel around South America, Brazil, Argentine, Peru and Bolivia mainly. One day I’ll do it!

Best place I’ve been to was the Grand Canyon, it was breathtaking. Second best is Portugal, such a beautiful country, I love the language and the people.

Omg I would love to visit south america too - I just think i'd meet the greatest people

I live in New Zealand and see the mountains everyday from home … there is currently snow on the tops but it’s going to be 20 degrees today .. I feel lucky.

I have just got back from a safari and Botswana completely blue my mind .. went to the Okavango delta .. that place blew my mind. I would love to go back .. it’s just so expensive.

Gosh, there are some very exotic places listed on here! I admit that I'm not well-travelled, and the furthest that I've been is to Germany.

I would like to visit the smaller islands dotted around the coastline of the UK, just to see what life is/was like there (e.g. St Kilda is no longer home to a permanent human population).

I'm very into rural living, though, so I'd probably be quite happy visiting Alaska, the Canadian and American countryside (I love the idea of staying with the Amish!), and rural Austria. The Icelandic countryside is supposed to be nice; most people come back with pictures of the Blue Lagoon, but my friend came back with photos of Icelandic dairy cows instead!

I know, I long to be well travelled honestly

That's interesting about st kilda- same it would be nice to see some of the uk and the surrounds

Favourite places - Peru, Barcelona, Nrw Zealand. South Africa was also stunning, but the fears around personal safety took shine off for me

Best holiday by far was South Africa, specifically the game park we went to (Karongwe). To be honest I could take or leave Cape Town but that's more because it just reminded my of being in Sydney where I live.

Other holidays I loved were Japan, Greece and Vietnam.

On my bucket list are Rwanda, Egypt and Borneo.

You have more hindsight than I did! We did go to New Zealand and I changed from a person who absolutely loved flying to dreading it.
In fact, I almost developed a phobia. A few days before the return flight I was asking my husband to cancel it because just the thought of getting back on that plane was almost inducing a panic attack. Luckily, I did manage ok.

The irony is, I thought NZ was just a bit meh. Yes, I know I seem to be the only person on the planet to think this but there it is!

Ive seen the 'visit rwanda' adverts - such a sad history but I bet its beautiful

Vietnam is another one - i think its a must visit

I might see if I can do Greece with dd, as its not too long a flight 👀👀
