I have an essay to write
I would rather practice my piano
I don't want to work any more
I want to sit under a blanket and watch Netflix
I am so over this working for a living lark

Why else don't you want to go to work tomorrow?

Because I worked all weekend!
Not something that happens often but there was an event on - was actually quite fun and I’ll take TOIL later on in the week. I actually enjoy my job but I’m not long home and I’m kinda tired.

Like a PP, we too are short staffed- following a big round of VR (public sector).

Remaining staff are fed up, burnt out and resentful. My manager and I have to try and motivate the team to do more with so much less.

I hate my job now, which is a shame because at one time it was so good and the team were much more connected.

Because I’m just so so tired of it.
It’s so political and demanding.
I get zero time to ‘do’ anything during the working day due to people ringing me all day or a calendar full of chaotic meetings jumping from topic to topic. I finish at 6ish with a mountain of emails to sift through and actions from the day.
Then work till 10-11 most evenings and at least one day on the weekend.
I’m tired of always either working or in zombie mode recovering from working.
But I’d never get as good a job (pay/seniority wise) elsewhere and elsewhere could be just as bad. And I want this job. Just not in its current form.
Whew that felt good to write down.

Because my house is a tip and I've had no time to clean it.
Because I have barely had any sleep this weekend.
Because I love my family dearly but I'm desperate for a day all by myself.

Because it sucks. Everyone who was decent has left and I'm trying to carry everyone else. I'm tired and, honestly, I can't be arsed.

I'm seriously considering calling in sick for a couple days. I won't but I like to imagine I might

plus it’s open day, I’m struggling every day with the level of SEN in my class, I hate the science unit I’m teaching at the minute, I’m on break duty and I haven’t been food shopping so won’t even have a nice lunch to look forward to😭

Because last weekend I was ill and had to work through it, albeit from my bed. The week has been intense and full on with a lot of pressure and I've often felt like I couldn't breathe. Yet again this weekend, I've worked both days and I don't think I can face another insanely busy week.

Because it will be Monday and a whole new week stretches ahead.

I’ve made the worst decision of my working life accepting this job, and I feel physically sick thinking about another week of battling people who don’t want me there and are waiting for me to fail.

Only another four months before I can move to another post and put this nightmare behind me.

I have come to the end of a two week spell of leave, part of which was spent in Lanzarote. It’s my first day back at work tomorrow and I want to get it out of the way. I’ll be more with it on Tuesday.

Been there, done that. It can be like hell on earth, can't it.

I don’t want to go to work tomorrow because it’s my first day back from maternity leave and I just want to stay home cuddling DD 😭😭

Because it's probably going to be the same old nonsense all day and then I'm back to working a second job in the evening (same place, different department) so 14 hour day for me.

Just have to keep plodding for the time being as planning to relocate next year so don't want to change jobs now and then again in six months time.

Because a weekend at home with two shrieking children makes me crave a day of silent contemplation while eating biscuits, alone.

And like PPs I can't believe I haven't yet earned the right to do whatever I want with my time.

Because my alarm is set for 2am to start at 3 - to do four hours work to fly home again for the school run. 6 days a week 😭😵‍💫

i am working 6 days 😩and even though i like my job i just don't want to work any more as i have had enough .
I really want to clean the cutlery drawer out.
I put the winter duvet on and my bed is heavenly and i just want to stay in it and read.
I may want to spend some of the time in bed with my husband who is home tomorrow.....

i want to go for a proper run
my darling OH is in hospital 2 hours away after a leg surgery and had a small stroke this morning
Im so stressed my son has noticed and is unhappy
i just moved house and I need to buy sofas
I’m so tired and I just want to spend the day with my OH in hospital and sit on my sofa with my cat and look after my family

My "work" tomorrow consists of cajoling a young adult through working out at the gym for a few hours ........ I'm too fat for that
Then I can take them shopping and help find all the yummy treats they want to buy....... again I'm too fat to stand looking at food I shouldn't be eating
