Boyfriend has described himself as “pussy whipped”

I don’t know if im just being extra sensitive because im on my period and feeling crap in general, so I want some perspective.

my boyfriend and I have been together for about four months. We’re both 26. He’s sent me a screenshot of a conversation he was having with one of his friends this evening, where he agrees with his friend who says he’s “pussy whipped” and he shoots back and basically says the sex is so good I can have whatever I want.

this entire exchange has just made me feel really
grossed out, because I think that’s something I wouldn’t discuss with anyone else. AIBU to feel like this?

@JHound “Desirable status” does not mean “intensely attracted to. Nor did he say she is highly desirable.

I don't really understand what you're trying to say, or where you're going with this. It's really bizarre to try to argue that when sex with a specific woman is amazing, then that specific woman isn't necessarily desirable. I suspect you aren't sure what your point is either.

What I have said is quite clear. Nowhere did he say he is “intensely attracted to her”.

You made that up.

@PyongyangKipperbang Or as a vile man at my current job put it "we fuck the filthy ones and marry the nice ones"

I'm not sure why the men you know are having these conversations in work. That's really weird. Anyway...

These qualities are not mutually exclusive. A partner can be sexual but also be nice.

In terms of being strung along by a man who has other options... well, then don't approach those men for relationships...

I work in pubs, I hear a lot of such comments. Some men think that if you are behind a bar it renders you deaf and blind.

@TwistedWonder There’s plenty of men out there who would shag a stray dog if it stood still long enough.

Now you're just resorting to making stuff up that's clearly not correct and has no basis in reality. There is no evidence that attraction to dogs is common among men.

Many men don’t need any attraction at all to a woman other than her being willing.

Of course men need attraction, otherwise they wouldn't want to have sex... what you're saying makes no sense.

Dear God do you always take everything b so literally? You know when someone says they’re so hungry they could eat a scabby horse then they won’t be hanging you d the stables with a knife and fork right? It’s pretty obvious what I meant to anyone who doesn’t take every word literally.

And the only attraction some men need to a woman to have sex with is heating the word yes - let’s not pretend most men are mythical princes who only sleep with women they find attractive.

is this a new way of saying under the thumb I never heard this expression before

This is utterly bizarre and I don't understand why you think this way.

  1. No one said men are mythical princes.
  2. Men don't have sex with people who they don't find attractive. Attraction is needed for the equipment to work.
  3. The majority of men think the majority of women are attractive, hence why most men will have sex with most women.

I didn't make it up. I inferred it from what he said...

Yuck get rid.

Very illuminating on the behaviour of such types, I expect...☹️.

No they don't. How would that be possible? Man has to feel attraction for the woman for certain things to function correctly.

Not neccesarily, they sometimes just need to empty their balls.

shuggles · 10/10/2025 19:11

@Illegally18 Not neccesarily, they sometimes just need to empty their balls.

I don't think you really understand male sexuality.

It's not about men simply wanting to "empty their balls." If the only goal was to empty balls, then would they not be looking at pornography, or having sex with other men?

Having sex with women is completely different. Men have sex with women because they feel an attraction to them.

Sorry, both are true. I think you don't understand male sexuality.

Hes embarrassed that his mate thinks you boss him around. So he decided to tell his mate that he stays with you because you're good in bed. Then he told you all this.

Fuck me. He is truly a grim disaster

Please provide your evidence that men have sex with women they don't find attractive.

From the way you express yourself and what you've shared about him, my conclusion is that this man is not your intellectual equal, to put it politely. That's rarely a good recipe for a positive relationship. So even if he apologises when you teach him why this is not a compliment, you should think very carefully about a future with a man who is a bit of a dim bulb. You'll be bored and frustrated.
