That is, of course having Amanda as her mum helped to get her foot in the door. Of course it did! But, if she is not a duffer, she will do well through her own talent. If she is purely nepo with no talent, she will soon drown.

(cf. Brooklyn Beckham who has had all the opportunities, but a duffer of a career to date.)

I do wonder if the she’s not a nepo baby schtick is just to make everyone Google who she is and raise her profile. Good looking girl, having a famous mum will help. Amanda Holden’s face though, fucking hell, looks ok in pictures but its just so weirdly filled it’s hard to watch her talk.

I think Amanda herself got a little help with starting her career from the husband at the time, Les Dennis. Perhaps she's a bit sensitive about that 🤣

So a nepo baby is a child of parents whose success has given them a head start

Look at how many celebrities have grown up children who are now models. It’s not a coincidence.

Yeah this. She was effectively a nepo (cheating) spouse.

I mean she is good looking in the same way that lots of young girls are but definitely wouldn't have a sniff at modelling if it wasn't for the nepo angle.

As others have said, they need to own it. Yes my kid got a foot in the door with my help. However from then on it’s all her / his own work / responsibility. They’d all be a lot more respected if they did this.

It’s always been the case. Nicholas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Cumberbatch, Lily Allen, Eddie redmayne, Emilia fox, blah blah, millions of them. If someone is famous and successful without any kind of leg up, they’re usually the truly special / talented ones. Eg. Marilyn monroe, Ricky gervais, Bob Mortimer, Cary grant etc etc

The Nepo’s don’t seem to understand that having access to the Contacts that thier Parents have made, and using those, in order to further thier career is Nepotism.

It makes no difference if they are talented, lots of young people are … they have advantages via Nepotism, that other young people don’t have.

I wish they would just admit it
