Something that stays with you, or something that you reference all the time?

Mine is Autoglass Repair Autoglass Replace. Literally, the second my windscreen got a crack this week, I knew i'd just contact them.

They're actually just called 'Autoglass' as well, but i still say the full tagine for the fun of it.

Cigarette ads? When was this? 👀👀

Ha! Way to show you're younger than some of us! You seem shocked by the fact that cigarettes would be advertised but back in the 70s and 80s there were adverts in many magazines every single week!

😭😭 i'm 33

Never seen a cigarette ad in my life

That said, I think that I remember the packaging being covered up with warnings, and do remember the smoking ban being introduced

Ah! That would explain you not having seen an advert for cigarettes then! Now I feel very old!! Ha ha!

😄😄 omg not my intention

If its any consolation, I am very out of touch and literally rely on Radio 1 to keep me current (very cool of me i'm sure 😄)

This thread has like really stirred my memory banks!

Why are so many of my advert
memories of breakfast cereals though?

“Mr Frosty is such fun! He
makes treats for everyone!”

”Nestle Luckycharms- they magiclly delicious!”

”Kel-logs hon-ey-nut loops!”

The eye of the tiger song (Frosties)

“Kids will do anything for the taste of Dairylee” (that one hasn’t aged well in the post-Savile era!)

“Pampers- even when they’re wet, they’re dry!” (No they weren’t!)

Lonelycrab · 30/09/2025 19:59

Also apparently, you can’t get better than a kwik fit fitterHmm
