Can’t find a name for my little boy?

Hello,

so I’m pregnant, 7 months and really really struggling to find a name. I have a boy already, and his name is as easy peasy for me to choose - I knew straight away, even before I was pregnant.

since finding out I’m having another boy, I’ve been struggling to think of a name. I have options…. But just don’t love any of them. I feel really guilty about it, feel bad that I can’t think of a name for him, can’t connect with him on that level? Maybe I’m over thinking it but I truly feel like a crappy mum, I should “know” his name.

My husband like Huxley… I thought it was okay, and would’ve happily have gone with it for him but his cousin has now called their baby Huxley. So that’s that. Won’t use it.

we both like Rudy, but i don’t LOVE it, it’s okay but doesn’t feel like that’s his name.

we like cassian, again, doesn’t move me to tears but it’s fine 🤣

anyway, it’s a big deal naming a baby. I want something easy to say and spell, not tooo common.

Please choose Arlowe🤣 it's the name i wanted to use but we were beaten to it by my friends!!! It is "olde" English name but very unique and of the same time period as Saxon.

I was going to say Roman, makes me think of a lovely little boy we had at nursery. Or maybe a really old name like Harold or Edmund

I have a Magnus. He doesn’t get called Maggie! It’s a brilliant name (albeit I’m biased).

I would assume Neo was Keanu Reeve’s character in The Matrix rather than Ne-yo

I LOVE caspar.

I liked the nickname Cass so tried to convince my OH with cassius, caspar, caspian... All to no avail 😭.

We went with Ezra in the end which I do love.

What made you choose saxon? I think it would help know what you like about it to find other names you might connect with.

Also have you tried chat gpt 😂 I put my name list in and asked for suggestions and it helped because I could pinpoint specific things I liked such as nicknames ending In the ee sound and I didnt want a link with nature. It did help with ideas.

Out of all the suggestions I think Finn goes really well with Saxon.
