Trump &’his supporters have been very vocal about getting the death penalty for the shooter.

Yes. Anyone who can assassinate a prominent figure should be taken off the streets at the earliest possible moment. That man is not the son they know. At the heart of this discussion is a cold blooded killer. Would we even be asking this question if he’d behaved this way in his school? There’s a lot wrong with America - but one things for sure, life for a life is a well known risk you take when you go around shooting people.

I’d hand them in but only because I couldn’t live with myself if they went on to kill others. I’d do my best to get them a good lawyer. I don’t agree with the death penalty but my child made the decision to kill someone so he’s not safe to be around others. I’d have to accept that I’d chosen to live somewhere with the death penalty - which would never happen as there’s no way I’d live in a country that believes in the death penalty

No I wouldn't hand my child over ... unless they were something terrible like (god forbid) a pedophile or S crimes etc then i would hand them over but in their position I would do everything in my power to make sure they didn't catch him , I don't agree with what he did but the man was evil & stood for terrible things it's not like he killed a child ...

I would turn in my child in in these circumstances because what sort of life would he have? His identity is known and he wouldn’t be able to hide forever. Someone else would kill him.

I am generally opposed to the DP because there have been so many wrongful convictions, but if there was absolutely concrete evidence that could not be disputed then in some cases the world is better without certain people (rapists, child murderers etc).
