Cat jumped on baby! GP?

In the middle of a nappy change about half an hour ago and 6kg hulk of a cat bounded through, jumping over but also part on my 8-week-old baby. Baby had a few scratch marks (no broken skin, and they've pretty much faded) and cried for about 30 seconds then fell asleep again, has been a little grumpy since but nothing unusual.

Do I need to take baby to the GP? My husband thinks I'm being an anxious PFB mother and I quite possibly am, but we thought you wise people might know best!

The bond between children and cats is wonderful, op. There'll be the odd scratch along the way as they learn about each other, but you’ve a lot to look forward to! This was Lars helping dd with her homework yesterday. They adore each other.

You reckon your DH's opinion really matters?
