Brief summary: Charlotte, from S2 of The Traitors UK, claimed she had a ONS with Conor Maynard, resulting in the birth of her daughter. She was quick to drag his name through the mud as being a deadbeat dad for not providing her with support, but two paternity tests later, it has been conclusively revealed that he isn't the father.

What an embarrassing situation for her. Surely as a woman if you're shagging multiple men at a similar time, it's basic sense to at least be sure of who the father is before publicly naming them and making accusations!

Perhaps she hoped it was Conor because he was single at the time, and the other potential father/s weren't?!

That poor girl. She's going to see all this online when she grows up. And all because of her mother's stupidity.

Surely Charlotte owes Conor a grovelling public apology at the very least?

She’s a bit strange, she’s spent ages slamming him saying he won’t pay for his child or acknowledge the child and I think she knew all along the baby wasn’t his but had got into it too deep and would look a fool so she continued.
she probably knows he’s a rep for being a player and thought nobody would question the paternity.

I’ve had to look this lot up even though I watched series 2 of traitors. I can’t remember either of them tbh, I remember the winner only.

That baby has a very distinct look and it isn’t her mother’s, I don’t believe Charlotte doesn’t know who the father is. Like others have said, she probably has a type, and probably doesn’t know or have a way of contacting the other possible father.

I’ve never heard of either of these people, however…this does sound strange. If she’s been public/adamant/requested a 2nd test etc, it indicates that she was absolutely certain that he’s the father. Very strange indeed. This child has got a father so if it isn’t this man, who is it? As no other man seems to have materialised during this saga.

Are there other pics of the baby other than the one in the Daily Mail article? Because in that she has that baby look where you could probably spot a resemblance to anyone!

And is that photo of Charlotte and Conor taken on the actual one night stand? Did he know it was being taken?

She has made some insane claims, that he was the one who slept with her, but another man was there, drugs were involved and so she doesn’t know if anyone else slept with her etc etc.

She wanted it to be him because he’s wealthy. It’s not, but she can’t let go of that idea. She should just disappear off now and focus on raising her baby girl. He should sue her.

It's because she's become fixated on him being the father. She's after her 5 minutes of fame and probably thought if she could convince him the baby's his she'd be set for life. Only he wasn't stupid.

No, the second test just shows that she was clinging on to a hope that he was the father.

Aw I read about this ages ago and thought she'd behaved shockingly to not have even went on to apologise, so I agree with you.

I think the worst decision was involving the press. She was obviously convinced it was him. But someone else must be a close contender. When it was negative why wasn’t it accepted. The poor baby!

Which is more plausible:

That two DNA tests, one of which is taken with two sets of legal representatives watching is wrong/rigged.

A proven adulterer cheated more than once.

But that isn’t the fault of Conor, who had no idea that he was the supposed father until she named him, labelled him as a deadbeat and said he didn’t pay for his child. He took two DNA tests, both of which showed he wasn’t the father.

At one point she said that there was another man who stood in the room watching her and Conor have sex, and said that maybe there were drugs involved and he had also had sex with her.

At this point she’s coming across as quite the unreliable narrator who had latched onto the idea of Conor being the father. Potentially because Harry from the same series was dating Conor’s sister at the time (I don’t know if they’re still together or not). The Maynard family have some money and so it seems like she wanted him to be the dad so that she could have a part of that. She needs to go now, accept the results of two DNA tests that have both concluded he is not the father, and either privately seek out the actual father, or accept that she played with fire and doesn’t know.
