About Gender neutral loo

1000 replies

paulhollywoodshairgel · 14/08/2025 18:59

I was in a museum today and my daughter (15) left me to go to the loo. She then waved me over.. she said to me.. I’d rather not use the gender neutral loo. I said that’s fine and sent her down a level to the ladies. A woman the approached me and preceded to tell me off for not encouraging my daughter to use the GN loo. How she has a trans child and how are they ever going to feel accepted with people like me around. I’m ND and I always second guess myself 10000 times a day. I wasn’t in the wrong was I?? I just said ok go and use the other separate loo. Surely my child can pee wherever she feels comfortable??!! I hate conflict so I just said ok and walked off!

No you don’t, you just have to accept that @Namelessnelly feels like that and answer the question from there.

Just give it a go instead of trying to worm out of it.

It would require a bit of empathy and understanding of theory of mind…

She might claim to feel like that. A racist person might claim to feel the presence of a "green" person violates their safety and dignity. Doesn't mean that I have to counter that with any legitimacy or grounding in reality.

Tandora · 18/08/2025 13:13

DrPrunesqualer · 18/08/2025 13:09

Males can be removed from and denied access to single sex spaces. Providers in accordance with Building Regs 1992 and the Equalities Act 2010 must comply with provision for single sex spaces in accordance and where possible.
Women are protected under the Equalities Act and as such anyone not acting within the law is acting outside of it

Men can be removed from situations when they act outside of the law. Early days but if there are lots of people like you around we’ll start seeing the law being upheld.
FWS has given the Scottish Government 21 days to sort their house out and abide by the SC ruling.

The SC ruling is quite clear on sex and biology and whilst trans people and Stonewall had taken advantage and attempted to blindside organisations with ‘me speak’ in order to force the abandonment of women’s rights we will see our rights upheld once again.
Obviously. Common sense, knowledge and facts are everything

Now I’ve ignored by modus operandi to ignore you 🤣🤣

But then a male may “claim” to feel he needs a female space for his comfort and dignity. How do we know he’s telling the truth?

So women wanting single sex spaces are akin to racists according to you. Can you stoop much lower. That is truly truly despicable.

Categories of questions Tandora will not/can not answer

  • ones that show she’s an ideologue who believes men can become women, & as such have every right to use female single sex spaces, even if they’re not welcome.

So, every question.

Well they don’t have the right to single sex spaces
no matter what they feel

CohensDiamondTeeth · 18/08/2025 13:15

Tandora · 18/08/2025 13:09

So I said:

"I don’t think trans people should always have to be put in side rooms to make women more comfortable. That is part of trying to make trans people disappear from public life and making them feel like stigmatised or second class people. And by outing themselves - I also mean to the medical staff! Plenty of trans girls and women are really private about being trans and the pass as women, it wouldn’t even necessarily be on their medical records.*

Which in no way shape or form constitutes "advocating" for trans people to conceal their physiology from their doctors.

"And by outing themselves - I also mean to the medical staff! Plenty of trans girls and women are really private about being trans and the pass as women, it wouldn’t even necessarily be on their medical records."

So you aren't supporting trans identified people concealing there sex here? That's not what this means? Funny because that's how it reads to everyone else I'd say?

@Ereshkigalangcleg

That’s exactly what Tandora thinks, that trans women - men - can decide whether women have a right to comfort & dignity in their female spaces. Horrific, isn’t it? And her answer is that they don’t, because the feeling of the man to enter is more important than the woman.

But even she doesn’t have the gall to state that, so has confected the multidimensional sex waffle. Sick.

@Tandora you can’t decide for individual women what they feel is a violation of their comfort and dignity.

Edited

Tandora has unilaterally decided that comfort, privacy and dignity are something that either women don't deserve or that they are not breached by getting naked in front of people with male bodies/ people with male bodies getting naked in front of them (if I don't clarify that her reasoning was unclear she will just say 'I didn't say that' when we can all read that she did) after many weeks of my asking her she confirmed that her belief is my elderly maiden Aunt and my preteen nieces do not have the right to a single sex changing space at the swimming pool.

As a dear trans weather person would say 'let that penetrate'.

Oh no. She said that plainly a few posts up. A woman wanting a single sex space for comfort and dignity is akin to a racist, but a man wanting access to that single sex space should be admitted for his comfort and dignity, even if that caused women distress.

She might claim to feel like that. A racist person might claim to feel the presence of a "green" person violates their safety and dignity. Doesn't mean that I have to counter that with any legitimacy or grounding in reality. @Tandora exact words.

Women wanting single sex spaces is not remotely comparable to racism, you are ridiculous and offensive every time you try to compare the two and you know it.

So according to you the only person who's comfort and dignity matters is the male. Yeah we get that Tandora, you keep telling us, you are still wrong and that is still misogyny.

Want to provide me some evidence of actual physical violence and unlawful discrimination against trans identifying men yet? Or are we to keep on with the only conclusion left to us which is that you wouldn't know the truth if it bit you on the posterior?

Want to answer how trans identifying men in female single sex spaces are of benefit to females?

Want to explain how trans identified men are "outed" by using mixed sex toilets along with lots of other people of different sex, gender id (if they've got one), those that don't care about which toilet they use, trans identifying females, and trans allies? Want to explain how the TRA agenda regarding this supposed "outing" if they use mixed sex toilets isn't just a cover to facilitate predatory males with an emotionally manipulative excuse to access non-consenting females?

Tandora · 18/08/2025 13:24

Namelessnelly · 18/08/2025 13:13

Not any 'male' 'claiming he needs a female space'.

A trans person.

There is an extensive body of medical and scientific evidence that sets out why it's profoundly damaging distressing harmful etc, to a trans person to force them into their birth sex role and to closet/ deny/ repress their transness.

This isn't something someone made up one day, it's based on over 100 years of scientific research.

A lot of the transphobia expressed on this and other threads is exactly comparable to racism. And homophobia, and ableism and all forms of discrimination/ prejudice directed at minority groups.

My concerns about transness have nothing to do with someone being 'male'. They are rooted in a desire to fight all forms of gender based oppression which have their origin in patriarchy. I care about women, girls, GNC people, and trans people regardless of sex registration at birth. I'm not the least bit concerned about the majority of males, who enjoy male privilege on account of patriarchy. There are minority of people registered male at birth who suffer extreme oppression and violence as a result of patriarchy and including GNC men and trans women, meanwhile patriarchy of course also affects all people female at birth.

Great, hit us with evidence of this 'scientific research' and then we can all agree that trans people need third (sorry disabled people, 4th) spaces and we can can all go home for scones and tea.

Oh and yeah you still lied about your support for trans identifying patients concealing their sex in a medical setting because it would be "outing".

Just an incredibly stupid and dangerous thing to support, and you prove by supporting it that even I, the according to you horrifically transphobic (and all the other phobias and ists), and (ha!) sex fascist GC feminist cares more about actual trans identifying people than you do.
