To be so fed up amd disheartened with all the xenophobia

1000 replies

Nohqters · 04/08/2025 21:56

Honestly, I’m just feeling worn out and heartbroken lately. It seems like racism and xenophobia are becoming more and more mainstream again, wrapped up in the same tired scare stories, whether it’s splashed across a tabloid or coming straight out of Farage’s mouth. Then you see stupid threads on here about civil war trying to stir up more hate.

Even my own brother has started sounding like Tommy Robinson. Ten years ago, that would’ve been unthinkable. It’s like people have completely forgotten the lies we were sold during Brexit—by Farage, Tice and their crowd—and yet they’re still lapping up everything they say. No critical thought, just blind anger pointed in the wrong direction.
I’m so fed up with the endless nonsense about small boats, “white minorities,” and all the rest of it. It’s all designed to divide us, stoke hate, and distract from the real culprits—rubbish politicians, broken policies, and the ultra-wealthy hoarding resources while the rest of us struggle.

But instead of looking upwards, it’s always “blame Johnny Foreigner.” It’s exhausting, and frankly terrifying how quickly people fall for it.

Is anyone else feeling this? How are you managing conversations when even close family seem to be buying into this stuff? I’m trying to stay compassionate, but it’s getting harder to bite my tongue.

Why do you think men are animals, unable to deal with their instincts without raping women? You seem to equate non-UK born men with base, animalistic behaviour. Timeless racism.

The problem is many (not all) of those men have no respect for women. You only have to look at what’s going on in Afghanistan to see that. They aren’t going to change because they are in Britain, you only have to look at the hotel near me. They need to change their beliefs to respect women and girls.

There we have it in Full HD and Technicolour the real reason your posting a hatred of white people, as evidenced in your post.

My post absolutely doesn't demonstrate a hatred for white people. I am one. My post demonstrates that I judge all people on their individual merits and failings, I don't group people together and make sweeping judgements on all people of any demographic, based on the behaviour of one member.

I will post only this as I am leaving the thread now.

It will go unanswered. It will be batted away. It will be met with ‘but what about British men…’. It will be dismissed as racist.

This year alone, multiple women have been raped, multiple young girls have been raped. Alongside the rape there have been abductions, attempted abductions. A woman has been stabbed to death. A man and toddler were stabbed to death in January. Boys have also been raped.

What is, in your view, an acceptable number of people to sacrifice to the above crimes to accommodate ‘asylum seekers’ who are primarily men from very misogynistic countries who have been allowed to terrify women for decades with very little resistance?

You won’t answer, you’ll look away. It’s uncomfortable. It won’t happen to your daughter, your cousin, your friend. You hope. You want to believe in good, you tell yourself, and that means always being open and accommodating. Anyone who triages based on a characteristic is surely a bigot? Apart from when it comes to transwomen. I mean, you get called bigoted for that - but it’s different, you have genuine concerns. These racists don’t. Even though the crimes are numerous and grave; surely they’re just racist for pointing them out?

I know deep down you know what I’m saying is true. You can’t face facts, because you’ve convinced yourself it would make you a ‘bad person’. Good luck with your conscience is all I can say.

Edited

Arrogant to the last.

"You know I'm right, you just can't admit it to yourselves" 🤣 TTFN!

Many (not all) Western men have no respect for women. You only have to look at what's gone on in America, to see that.

The issue is assuming all Americans are rapists, or misogynists, because they elected a leader as one. And assuming all Afghans hate women, because the Taliban (the regime they're choosing to flee) treat them poorly.

Just to add to this, how many local women and girls are willing to have relations with undocumented boat migrants that have been dumped into their neighbourhoods with no prospects, values that done align with their own and hang round in groups.

You have an over representation of illegal and unknow illegal boat migrants that these women and local authorities have zero knowledge about or their past and as a majority of reports show they come with illness.

The same can be said about white men though.
You never usually see riots outside hostels if one white man who lives there commits a crime.
Because people don't hold all white people collective guilty/thought of as criminals just because of the colour of their skin.

Many women don't want to have 'relations' with ugly men, or overweight ones. So should we demonise all of them, just in case one turns violent?

And that equates to raping women because they have nobody to have sex with? No. That's racist and it's using the dire, and oft-ignored plight of Afghan women to support racist ideology and rhetoric.

Again whataboutery, at least a majority of the men in this country have records of their full criminal history and were hopefully brought up to know better, although some don't.

Also why are you only quoting white men? id say thats quite a racist comment in it's .

Why do you only quote white men and not english men? please explain your agenda.

@ForWittyTealOP

For clarity, are you suggesting that those who come from societies in which attitudes to women are sub optimal (to say the least) are likely to have no more problematic, perhaps even more evolved, attitudes to women than a bunch of locally grown men living in a hostel together?

There’s a massive gap between “all immigrants are rapists” (they are not) and “actually, these men are coming from places where women are treated horrifically and it’s not unreasonable to worry about the knock on effects of lots under occupied young men living in hostels near young girls”

Some of the posters here would be the first to victim blame a girl who walked around in a skimpy outfit in a Muslim country for being culturally insensitive if she suffered hassle as a result…..

LakieLady · 05/08/2025 12:51

Many people have had enough. Enough of massive NHS waiting lists, their children not being able to get into their school of choice, having to wait a month and a half for a GP appointment, not being able to access an NHS dentist, and not being able to get social housing.... etc etc... Many people are sick of the way adverts on TV have gone too, and many modern 2010s and 2020s dramas...

I live in a county that is overwhelmingly white (93.9%), and where only 5.5% the population identify with a non-UK national identity*.

There is not a single NHS dentist in the Trust area that is taking adult NHS patients, only homeless families or vulnerable single people can get social housing and the GP situation is absurd: you have to do an e-consult and/or a telephone consultation before they will even consider making an appointment for you to actually see a doctor in person.

Given the low level of immigration here, I think it more likely that these problems are at least as much, if not more, due to the lack of investment in public services and social housing than due to immigration. If the issues you are referring to were attributable to immigration, it would follow that accessing services and housing would be easier than in areas where immigration is higher, and I can't see that this is the case.

And I don't see the relevance of the quality of modern tv dramas and adverts, unless you find the presence of people from ethnic minorities in these to be sickening.

Why when do these types of men get dumped into communities en mass and with over represented numbers with no jobs and not allowed to work of full fill their time.

Apples and oranges and you know it.

The rape conviction rate in the UK is tiny, let alone rates of reporting rape; sweet that you think there's a record of all UK born rapists.

Teanbiscuits33 · 05/08/2025 12:56

The other thing I find really curious is, If the protests are not about race or nationality and are just about concern, why do so many go to the hotels waving union jacks and England flags? Just concerned aren’t you? It’s not about superiority, is it?

And why have 40 odd percent of those very protesters got convictions for battering women if they’re so concerned about women and girls safety?

And why do they only protest in the summer? The rest of the year a bit nippy for em? 😂 can’t give that much of a shit, can they?

And, instead of protesting outside hotels, if you’re that concerned why don’t you do something more productive, like ask those in the know without bringing race into it? Let me guess, you think they’d lie to you 😩 and if you did it that way, there would be no excuse to be angry and violent.

matresense · 05/08/2025 12:59

@goldenquestion@FreezeDriedStrawberriesa large number of asylum seekers are males from Pakistan. No taliban to blame there. Are you saying that there are no cultural differences? That, if you walked around rural Pakistan in a school girls’ outfit, it would be totally fine? That if you walked past a crowd of male asylum seekers from rural Pakistan in a city centre in the U.K. something magical would have happened to those men? Or only the truly evolved ones migrate?

I wish people on here would honestly answer your questions, which are explained clearly, instead of assassinating your character to deflect their discomfort in realising you are right and they are wrong.

It seems be kind does not extend to uk born white men. (They will end up tying themselves in knots trying to justify their reasoning).

Thank goodness most of the uk population (including legal immigrants who work hard and integrate ) are waking up to the ridiculous situation we now find ourselves in.

The virtue signalling, naivety, white self-loathing and hypocrisy on here is on another level seriously.

It is ok to "have concerns." It's never usually just concerns though, that's usually just a legitimate front to hide all manner of shit behind.

In one tiny paragraphs you have managed to call people who disagree with you uneducated, lacking uncritical thinking and gullible to dog whistles.
It's almost as if you think the way to change people's minds is to piss them off.

I 100% agree with this.

Still cute that you can look at the conviction rates and fondly imagine there's some kind of register of UK born male rapists. Hooray! We can all sleep safely in our beds!

No need to CORRECt (sic) me; I'm relatively well educated so I'd say that in fact, reading and understanding are very much strong points of mine.
