To be pissed off that my DH is not going to McDonalds now and now I have to cook?

DH was going out at 4pm to rake DS12's friend home. He suggested he get McD's on the way back for himself and the kids (he knows I have a salad prepared for myself and that I don't like McDs) I said great, I wont have to cook.
I was in the shower when he left so I rang him to check he knows what DD7 wants from MCDs. He said he doesn't want McDs any more, he's going to go to the new local chippy instead. I said but the kids don't like the chunky chips you get from the chippies and he said well he's not going to two different places.
I said great, I suppose I'll just have to cook them something.
He said he doesn't understand why I'm so bothered, I would have had to cook anyway icfhe hadn't suggested getting something and I said, because I wasn't expecting to, I'd written it off in my mind, I haven't thought of what to cook and it's now 16:20 on a school night.
He thinks I'm just being argumentative and that I should just cook or we shpuld just tell the kids to just eat the damn chips.

If he said to the kids he was getting the food…I would let him manage that.

Ah but you see, pizza has vegetables (at the very least, there are tomatoes involved!) and can have fish/meat so I'm not seeing your issue with pizza 🤔.

This used to be true but IME, the fries are now much better at BK! I often get cold, soggy McDonald's fries and that's just sad all round 😂.

I agree with the milkshake though because chances are they won't have the machines running so you won't get it from either of them.

Your DH has children, he should stop being so selfish- you have to buckle down, why not him? Also why is he so indecisive? That would drive me mad.
