To ask if you have a fan on right now?

Do you always have the fan on, or the window open at night? We can’t really open our bedroom window so that’s not a choice and the fan is so noisy!

Same, quiet cul de sac and a Dyson fan. So quiet.

Window slightly open enough that no kids could fall out.
Fan is a no go my 3 year will not sleep with it on.

Windows closed as I’m on the ground floor. Fan currently on but once I go bed, it’ll go off because I hate the noise and I’ll be sleeping under my Sherpa blanket. I’ll be unsettled and cold without it, even in this heat 🤣

I have 3 fans on me and it's still not enough, I'm daydreaming about that ice hotel in Norway or somewhere.

We are in the attack room so both veluxes and 2 windows open. They are on opposite ends of the room so there is a lovely cold breeze.

I dont have a fan. I think the noise would annoy me

No fan and lying under the duvet. Not cold, I’m just right. Windows are all open but the shutters are completely shut because the telly is on and otherwise bugs will swarm.
I hate the feeling of the fan but Dh will put it on when he comes up and angle it at himself making sure I don’t get blown!

Both window open and fan on at the moment but I will close the window when I go to sleep as live close to a motorway.

@FishChipsAndVinegarPlease sorry link was too messy but search DKINY cooling towels on Amazon. Another tip I got from here years ago was to soak a big tshirt on cold water, wring it out and put it on dripping wet- got through the 40.1C here a couple of years ago sat in a wet t shirt on a towel- also flopped into bed wearing it once the dripping stopped No harm done to the bedding - all dry the next morning and I slept like a log.

Cool shower, window open, fan on. I sleep well after that.

Baffled why you would open the window with fan on, defeats the purpose surely?! Got a Dyson fan and the sound helps me sleep, it's like white noise!

Why wouldn't you? The fan directs the cooler air into the room.

Windows closed in all bedrooms and we have aircon units so perfect nights sleep, I moaned hugely to dh when he forked out the money for them last year but now I admit it was money well spent

This might sound totally pathetic but aren't you all worried about intruders with all these windows open (fyi I'm very paranoid about burglary and listen to way too much true crime), I can't sleep with windows open.

Im so hot I decided to sleep on the sofa. I have my balcony door open and fan right in front of me. I intend to keep it on all night.

Two story house, windows open on the secund floor, never worry at all about break ins. Inner city area, have lived here 20 plus years, never had a problem. I think worry is often a personality thing not actually related to risk at all

The sight of my bare arse when they come climbing through should scare them off, no problem.
