To ask if you have a fan on right now?

Do you always have the fan on, or the window open at night? We can’t really open our bedroom window so that’s not a choice and the fan is so noisy!

I have my bedroom window open every night, all year round. I have a fan at the moment. I wear ear plugs though so can’t hear it

Windows open, no fan. Don't even own one. I can't sleep with the noise and don't like sitting/sleeping in a draft

Windows closed but fan on full!! Funny enough I’ve just asked DS2 to swap fans with me. Mines on a stand and blows over the top of me rather than on me!

Windows open and fan on. I like the white noise of the fan. It helps me sleep.

I usually have my bedroom window open all the time but today we got invaded by thunderbugs so I had to close it and have all the doors, windows and vents closed all day 😭
I have got the fan on. I dont mind the noise. I couldn't cope without it.

Windows closed aircon on = good night sleep. Best money we've ever spent, even the water softener comes 2nd to the aircon unit in the bedroom. (Bedroom is south facing so is very hot in the afternoon even with the curtains closed etc.)

No fan- too noisy.

Window wide open all year unless it's absolutely freezing, in which case it's only open an inch.
Fan on, but I love the sound of it and usually play white/pink noise when the fan is off

Don't own a fan. Hate the sensation of air blowing on me. I like air conditioning, but don't like fans. Don't they just move warm air around?

I would love to have window open but being in London there would be too much noise - not that I live in a noisy street but just everyday noise. I have a Dyson fan and have it on low.

Window open all the time, at the moment all the windows in the house open to cool it down.

I haven't needed the fan yet this year, but I find the noise soothing so it's not a problem.

We have a meaco fan and it’s quite quiet in comparison to other fans.

Both bedrooms here have doors that open onto a roof terrace and both are open at the moment. I’ll close DS’ doors in a bit for safety reasons but he has a fan on. We’ll have our doors open all night so no need for a fan. There’s a lovely breeze coming through right now.

At the moment we have both window open and fan on. We plan to investigate aircon before next summer .
