Where are the trans men?

BlueandPinkSwan · 27/06/2025 12:11

Just that really, we are always hearing about men wanting to 'become women'. Phycially, mentally and emotionally impossible, but why aren't women rushing to do the same thing in reverse?
Just interested to know as I'm gender critical, and hate the patriarcal society we live in.
Is it because men wouldn't accept it as a trans man being part of their tribe but women are forced to put up with trans women invading /trying to enter into woman only spaces?

A situation men have created by trying to force their way in to women’s space. And goes to show how strongly women feel about keeping men out. Women have to fight so hard, don’t they? Why make it easier for men?

Underthinker · 28/06/2025 22:04

DoctorRoseReturns · 28/06/2025 19:50

Except we are talking about a transMAN

So he's hitting men...

You referred to "a male boxer" if you meant a female boxer perhaps you should have been clearer.

DoctorRoseReturns · 28/06/2025 22:07

Oh yes, years of stories about women being harassed and shamed and made to feel vulnerable because of antitrans feeling, by both men and women, is just another reason men are bad

😒

I give up

You are actively saying its ok for women to harass other women because of "the men"

DownWhichOfLate · 28/06/2025 22:09

No, women need to protect their rights.

Just because it doesn't bother you to get accused of being a man (and I suspect that if it actually happened then you'd be very upset and hurt) doesn't mean it doesn't happen and it isn't distressing. This isn't even all the news reports or comments from biological women who have been harassed and bullied because they don't conform.

Gender policing actively harms women. Congratulations on supporting a regime which is harmful to women. Well done for standing up for all those women. You did so well....

Console yourselves that all those nasty "men" have been stopped from entering a bathroom, which they could have done anyway

You’ve selected articles from biased websites 😂. The Metro, The Guardian. You’ve only missed out Pink News! As soon as I saw ‘cis’ in the headline my eyes nearly stuck at the back of my head.

Why would it bother me? I know I’m a woman, no
matter how I present. As stated, AGAIN, humans have been able to correctly sex another human from the beginning of time, despite ‘dress’.

The irony is so lost on you. Trans ideology actively harms women. Men saying they are women because they like to present in ways stereotypically associated with women. Why do they wear skirts, dresses, high heels and make up? Out of those things I only wear make up. Am I less of a woman then?

For the (third is it?) time, how does a man become a woman? Actually don’t bother, your comprehension so far and crap engagement doesn’t fill me with confidence.

Yes, I am happy that men can no longer say they have the right to go into women’s bathrooms to
name one. Crap men will go in anyway, but good men stay out so bad men stand out. The ‘but it’ll happen anyway’ - another one for the TRA bingo card - is not a reason to do away with safeguarding measures. Kind of like a burglar is going to burgle you anyway (and you’re statistically unlikely to get burgled in your lifetime), you still lock your door, have alarms and ring door bells and the like.

Im bored now arguing with people who vehemently defend something they can’t explain or define. I’m away back to the comfort of reality island. Educate yourself on what bigotry actually is.

There are 2 options...

  1. people challenge (ideally politely) people who appear to be entering the wrong toilet/changing room etc
  2. people decide its none of their business who uses which space.

With #1 there will inevitably be false positives and false negatives.

But if you pick #2, then you lose the right to tell absolutely any male they are in the wrong space. We get to the point when every perv knows they can hang out in women's changing rooms and leer all day long, because it's none of anyone else's business which room they're in.

I'm for option 1.

Why do you think it's acceptable to men to enter into women's spaces?

Sabire9 · 28/06/2025 22:28

The steaming hatred towards transgender women. On full display.

From a group of women who most likely have never even met a transgender person, but who for some reason feel persecuted by them and deeply oppressed by their very existence. Women who spend hours and hours searching out and sharing stories about crimes involving transgender women.

Transphobia is a mental illness.

Honestly it's an obsession of so called feminists on here. While they ignore the actual threats to women. Such as the growing power of fundamental Christians and the alt right trad wife/ modesty shites

Yawn. Come up with a decent reason why men should be able to go into women’s spaces, sports, rape counselling sessions based on an inner feeling.

It’s men. Problematic men.

To answer your point about actually meeting an transwoman (another bingo!). One is a distant colleague, seems quite nice, knew instantly they were trans despite everyone in the same uniform. The other was in a cell punching my colleague with his dick out and calling me stuff that I’ve never been called by a woman funnily enough. I’ve met nice men and bad men, I’ve met nice women and bad women.

I think several MNers would embrace a Handmaid's Tale version of life tbh. They can then actively shame women who step out of line, who don't conform to their ideas of modesty and sisterhood.

Transphobia is a mental illness.

I am so bored of people with no arguments screaming "hatred".

I don't hate anyone. I just believe being female has consequences and that is why we have female-only protections and opportunities, and that whatever trans women may feel themselves to be on the inside, it is not the same thing as being female and so it does not justify removing female-only rights and protections, or undefining female-specific language.

But maybe I'm wrong.

If you can explain to me what it is that I, a female person, have in common with trans women but no other men that is so fundamental that it overrides the differences in our sex and the different physical and social consequences we face because of those differences, in a way that means all the history of sexiam that we have faced because of our bodies is no longer significant, a thing I can recognise as true of myself, I would entirely accept this is real.

Can you?

HRTQueen · 28/06/2025 22:42

there are trans men

but they do not carry female entitlement towards men

also I suspect many trans women it’s a kink and getting attention is part of their kink

Why do you think it's acceptable to men to enter into women's spaces?

Why do you think it's acceptable for biological women to feel unsafe because they don't conform to societies expectations of women?

Why do you think it's acceptable to harass people just trying to live their lives and label them sex offenders?

But how can you say this when you can’t actually define what a woman is? It all gets very complicated when you try to blur the lines and mix up word meanings.

DoctorRoseReturns · 28/06/2025 22:48

OK

How do you know you are a woman?

Is it because you have breasts? Men have breast tissue. Women with cancer can have had mastectomies. Transwomen can have breast implants.

Is it because you can have a baby or have periods? Women who've been through the menopause, had a hysterectomy or have had various medical conditions can't have babies and don't have periods. Women chose to be childless and have their tubes tied.

Is it because you like things like flowers and pink and such "feminine" things? That is a societal structure of gender and it's a different thing.

Or is it because you KNOW you are a woman? You know in yourself you are a woman? Because that's what it is like for transpeople. They KNOW what they are even if their bodies don't match.

DoctorRoseReturns · 28/06/2025 22:50

I can define a woman: someone who identifies as a female. Someone who knows that they are a woman.

So someone without the mental capacity to understand being male or female is…what?

I'm for option 1.

Whereas I am for Option 2. Leaving people alone to live their life so long as it doesn't harm anyone else. Because Option 1 leaves it far too open for people to hurt, scare, harass and bully other people who may already have concerns about their looks...

Option 2 does not, in any way, stop you challenging anyone who is acting in an intimidating or inappropriate way

Biology, innit? Nothing more or less marks ms in common with all other women. Things like fashion, fertility, physique - it’s so varied. But chromosomes, gametes - can’t argue with those.

Yep. You are born one. You’ll remain this until the day you die. The only thing. Feeling something that you’re not will never make you that thing. Whether it’s a man, woman, car, duck or dinosaur.

‘*Awaits the DSD non points that TRA’s like to chuck in.
