I have been on a discussion elsewhere on MN about this and i am talking about anything outside of perhaps the ears and nose.

people riddled with piercings, especially women are what i would call low class and as i explained on the other thread that doesn't relate to income
you can be loaded and be TOTALLY chavvy

Am I being Unreasonable? i don't think so, but please advise

loudmouth · 23/05/2008 22:49

piercings are sign of not respecting your body and therfore questionable behaviour

loudmouth · 23/05/2008 22:51

not naive
i ask you to name a handful of people who have made it to any level of standing in society with a bunch of pericings outside of the music industry

I don't think so.

Lots of people with more pierced than just their ears can't be called low class.

Tatoos in the other hand - yes.

People with multiple or highly visible tatoos are very chavvy and of low class.

But i wouldn't class piercings in that bracket though.

And these tangoed badgers as well - women with blode streaks in their hair who burn themselves ornage on sunbeds.

very trashy.

loudmouth · 23/05/2008 22:51

low class

zara philips has her tongue pierced and her nans the Queen!

JodieG1 · 23/05/2008 22:55

Why would a piercing on the ear or nose be any different to other body parts?

If "piercings are sign of not respecting your body and therfore questionable behaviour" then why would ear piercings not be included?

IMO it's very 'low class' to judge people on such silly things as quantity of tiny bits of metal.
