So you're saying males aren't abused by women?

Can you quote where I said that?

CheshireCat1 · 28/05/2025 19:29

All the men in my life are great

ItsBouqeeeet · 28/05/2025 19:29

Can you explain what you meant by statistics don't back the claim up?

Crime including domestic abuse statistics.

JMSA · 28/05/2025 19:35

My 19 year old hates men already, and this makes me sad. My ‘not all men’ words fall on deaf ears.
She is disgusted by them on Social Media. Recently she came across some kind of chat where one was bemoaning the fact that his 7 year old daughter is now too old for him.
My 3 daughters didn’t have particularly positive experiences with teenage boys at school either.
I don’t think I can do anything to reverse their opinions.

Crime including domestic abuse statistics.

But it does happen, that's my point.

Yes, women do commit domestic abuse but not to the extent of men. Neither is excusable.

@ItsBouqeeeet

Do teenage boys have to change their behaviour because they know that women might rape them?

Do men have to get a taxi home even if they could walk because they fear a strange woman could attack them and rape them

Do men walk with their keys walk between their fingers because they have had experience of women following them and attacking them

Men are most likely to be a victim of MALE violence

Women are most likely to victims of MALE violence.

Stats don't lie.

AnnieAzul · 28/05/2025 19:48

ItsBouqeeeet · 28/05/2025 19:39

But it does happen, that's my point.

The average man can out strength 90% of women

The average woman is out strengthed by 90% of men.

DuesToTheDirt · 28/05/2025 19:52

Trying to mansplain me into a parking space. I can park very well all by myself, thank you very much.

I mentioned mansplaining parking to DH recently and he had no idea what I was talking about - obviously no one does it to men!

phoenixrosehere · 28/05/2025 20:06

Misandry is the effect of misogyny.

It didn’t happen out of thin air. Most societies are male-dominated. Men are the standard in everything from healthcare to history. Cars are still designed with men in mind even though women have been driving for decades and new versions of cars are released on a yearly basis. Studies prove over and over again that men’s needs and wants are placed above and over women. ‘Male loneliness epidemic’ constantly talked about when there is a loneliness epidemic for both genders in many age groups yet it is men that are the concern because we can’t have angry, lonely men about because they are a danger to everyone including other men.

Yes, domestic violence is a problem and everyone should keep their hands to themselves and that includes consent and not seeing people period as things you own but it is ridiculous to argue that women pointing out their reasons for not liking many men’s behaviour is just misandry.

StMarie4me · 28/05/2025 20:14

I have none of these types of men in my life, because I didn’t raise my sons that way, their friends aren’t like it, and I LTB that was like it. Obvs there are a lot out there tho!

Shouting what publicly?

Judgements about a strangers body. Public critiquing of how fuckable, or not the women are around them. We may discuss it across forums, as we are now, but I doubt any of us have ever shouted it, or stopped and bothered a man, going about his business, to tell him our thoughts on any aspect of him. I'd put money on the 45+ year old women not giving men in their teens and early 20's 'the eye'. You go from it happening to you, to watching your DD's and other young female relatives having to put up with it.

Caroparo52 · 28/05/2025 22:32

EVERYTHING

MotherofPearl · 28/05/2025 23:06

Starting wars the whole time.

Being responsible for the vast majority of violence in society.

Sometimes I watch the news, which, let’s face it, is pretty much always wall-to-wall bad news about war, violence and death, and mentally tot up which of the news stories are caused by men, and which are caused by women. Most times it’s nearly all men. Quelle surprise.

On nighs out on Friday and Saturday nights in pubs and clubs and on holidays I have heard this and more from women

JohnTheRevelator · 29/05/2025 00:11

Bloody everything.

tellmesomethingtrue · 29/05/2025 02:02

Men being so loud.

Rainbowqueeen · 29/05/2025 02:43

Men attempting to screw their partners over on a break up.

So many men I know who I thought were decent have behaved like complete shits towards their partners when they have broken up. No thought about the impact it will have on their children either. Makes me sick

cocklodger Isn’t really a known turn in real life tho is it ?

it also implies that he is doing anything useful or desirable with his cock which is frankly unlikely

This doesn’t come as a surprise, unfortunately

To want to know what you're sick of about men !

When handing over a heavy parcel "Careful, it's heavy." The worst one was a man who ignored my open hands ready to take the parcel, plonked it down in my doorway and asked me if there was a man around to take it into another room for me.

The whole "Calm down, it's just a joke" they try to pull after you've told them you don't like something/want them to stop etc.

VoodooQualities · 29/05/2025 03:40

I'm sick of how men are bigger and stronger than me, and aren't tied to reproduction like we are. It means they're the default leaders, adventurers, creatives, sports heroes, trend setters etc etc etc.

Despite women objectively being the better sex, on pretty much any metric other than size and strength.

Comments about appearance. Some seem to think they're gods.

A friend called me 'old and ugly' because he knew I was worried about an upcoming birthday. He's over 10 years older than me. Then 'you've got a cracking pair of legs' and 'you'd look great blonder'. I was thinking about highlights but I don't tell him to dye his hair.

A ‘friend’? What did he say exactly amd are you still friends? How did he justify it or was it a ‘joke’ as in you saying you were worried about turning 50 bc you felt old and were looking your age etc and him saying “Well you may be old and ugly but at least you’ve got a cracking pair of legs!” ?
