Being as most people’s kids seem to be doing something very mundane, I’d doubt that’s the case for most people.

Oh come on, people like a "what's for tea/what time do you wake up/what's happening in your house" kind of banal harmless thread

It's just mindless ways to pass the time.

Celebrating his 33rd birthday with his family.

Soaking up the sunshine in Malaga with her DP.

Putting a baby doll in a pram and forcing her eyes shut to sleep (2 year old).

One is playing netball, the other is eating ice cream and watching YouTube.

One is playing PlayStation, one is eating a fruit icelolly and watching YouTube.

They've both been at after school club until 5.15 so can relax a bit while dinner cooks.

I really like this thread. Mine is playing computer games online with a classmate. Both being loud 😂

Kid 1 is at her boyfriend's flat about 2 miles away from our house, she walked there setting off at 6.30pm. No doubt he has cooked her dinner.

Kid 2 is at the football with DH. It is the team who won the FA Cup 😎so they'll be there late to watch the parade of the cup around the ground.

I am having absolutely blissful evening home alone.

One is upstairs, relaxing after work, one is currently asleep in Australia, where he is a teacher, and the eldest is with his wife, their toddler and their baby twins - probably either doing bedtime or making supper.

Watching YouTube together, nicely
