One is lying on couch watching YouTube shorts. One is altering a beach coverup with wonderweb.

DD16 is revising - chemistry GCSE tomorrow 😳
DS13 is walking the dog with dad - bath and bed when they come back

Just finished a nice Sunday family dinner (after a whole weekend of revision together) so they are as far away from the parents as possible for an hour until we watch tv with popcorn together, early night, it’s exam season!

#1, on the erg rowing machine doing her 'set'
#2, having a shower
#3, asleep.

Mine are both cuddled up on the sofa with me, watching Race Across the World.

One is sleeping (on me), the other is trying to get to sleep/probably still reading.

Ds1 - revising chemistry GCSE
Ds2 - in his bedroom, very likely on Youtube or Reddit
Ds3 - next to me in the living room, playing an online game on the PS5 with his mates

Child 2 (6yo) has finally fallen asleep with me by her side. She has some disabilities and can get overwhelmed and it's a later bed then I'd like, but we avoided a horrific meltdown, just, so I'll take it.

Child 1 (8) is trying to go to sleep with my husband at her side. She has issues with separation anxiety and ADHD.

Oh for independent bedtimes! But you've got to parent the kids you've got!

One is in bed reading one more story. The other is in bed but coming through for one last cuddle every 5 minutes. This is a nightly thing thanks to bed time anxiety 😔

5 adult DD's here - had to guess with one or two of them but pretty much;
DD1 watching TV with b/f and doing a jigsaw no doubt
DD2 chilling with a glass of wine having got her DGD7 to bed and everything ready for school in the morning.
DD3 getting DGD 5 month old bathed and bedtimed,
DD4 coming to the end of an exhausting on-call hospital shift [trauma surgeon]
DD5 is on her last couples holiday in Skiathos with b/f ahead of the birth of their DS in the autumn.

DS is playing games on his computer. DD is at uni, she's at her desk ordering a birthday pressie for her dad. She's just finished a ready meal spaghetti and meatballs for dinner

Two (primary aged) asleep, two awake (teens) - one on the XBox and the other is chatting with DH in the living room.

Watching Hunger Games, just me and my two daughters. Had a lovely dinner whilst catching up.

One is in Oz so will be in bed ready for early start tomorrow. He is a bush ranger and loving life. Oldest probably just recovering from long, drawn out bedtime with 5 year old grandchild and sorting out newborn grandchild.
Youngest probably recovering from Arsenal match he went to today and having early night if that’s possible living in Battersea .

Sleeping, I hope! The little one was crying a short while ago but seems to have stopped (🤞).

Both asleep after a long day of playing in the garden!

DS3 - watching a documentary with me (read talking through it so no idea what is going on hence mumsnet scrolling)

One it's gaming having finished uni last week, the other is doing last minute GCSE Chemistry revision.

In her bedroom scrolling her phone. As per usual.

They would normally be gaming or watching YouTube, but for once they are in the garden making s’mores on the remains of our bbq.

One is playing guitar riffs too fast the other is stroppily brushing their teeth

All in their rooms. I imagine DD1 is on her phone, DS is playing a game on the laptop and DD2 is on the Switch, judging by the devices that are not currently in the living room.

Still in his uni city though exams are finished. Just been to the cinema with a friend.

One on his way to bed which will involve much faffing and bed won't actually occur for some time. One watching TV with us and one lurking somewhere, probably on his bed on his phone which is his default position.

I have teenagers.
