On the BBC today. The UN has condemned using man made starvation as a war tactic. Surely we can come to a general consensus that whatever you think about the conflict, Israel's actions here are just plain evil?

Surprisingly, a quick scroll back reveals that the Israeli government don’t appear to be posting here. I wasn’t addressing holocaust inversion. I was addressing the fact that Israel’s response to criticism of its’ conduct is to shout ‘anti semitism’ to shut down the debate. But then you knew that.

Well said. Isreal is doing nothing more than stand its ground. These ‘civilians’ that are now ‘starving’ danced in the streets when Hamas raped and murdered innocent people.

Zero sympathy do I have. It is a lesson to each and every supporter of radical terrorists. You rape, bomb, murder. This is what will happen to you.

Hamas should return the remaining hostages, hand over those guilty of the October 7th attacks then surrender.

You think that means that we should effectively starve the entire population? Hamas are awful, they committed grave crimes but what Israel has done and are doing is so disproportionate and it's plain evil. Israel want to be a democracy and seen as the west as a beacon of hope in the middle east then they need to stop behaving like egomaniac dictatoral monsters, this is barbaric.

No they don’t (children never do in any conflict) which is perhaps why the adults in Palestine should stop supporting Hamas, who directly contribute to their children being starved

If anyone truly cared about dead babies, they would want to dismantle the terrorist government that is killing babies on both sides. Hamas has openly stated that they have no duty to Gazans, they just want to fulfil their ideological genocidal aims.

It is a transparent attempt to sound morally correct while supporting terrorism.

All war is horrific and shows that really humanity can't move on from violence ever. We will never forget is a bit hollow really.

I wish everyone could just get along but we clearly can't as there are wars all over the place since forever..

Also millions if not billions of people support war and others profit from war. When society breaks down we also as a species revert to disgusting behaviour. Nothing shocks me. I just feel sad which is also pointless as nothing changes. History repeats
