Well, I'm quite enjoying watching Kneecap experience the finding out stage of their fucking around as their visas are revoked and their gigs are cancelled.

All their whiny backpedalling statement has achieved is to enrage and disappoint their ardent fans. It's not quite clear who the "They" Kneecap refer to are but they seem to think there's some sort of shadowy organisation of "Establishment figures" who have all sorts of powerful resources in the media to start a nefarious smear campaign based on...looking up Kneecap's actual words and actions, as documented in their own social media accounts, interviews and gigs.

Honestly, their bombastic opening declaration makes them sound about twelve.

You said they were “left”, but now say that there us no such thing as “left” - so I can only imagine you were using it as a pejorative term, to say “anyone not agreeing with me”.

Kneecap are a band- quite a good one- and they are making music that has a political tone.
The only reason everyone is clutching their pearls over them this week is because they are vocal in their condemnation of the genocide in Palestine.
As every human should be.
The treatment of Kneecap however certainly explains why so many artists have been so pathetically silent on the issue. Shame on their cowardice .

Yes and of those numbers more from the Catholic side were murdered by the IRA than the army and police put together.
Of course kneecapping was carried out by both sides but more prolifically by the IRA so cannot understand their appeal with a name like that.

I don’t believe this is ANYTHING to do with Palestine. Kneecap are using the political controversy to get publicity - but unfortunately for them they’ve gone too far so have had to back track .
They are now looking quite pathetic as they tried to salvage their musical careers with denials.

Palestinians are the victims of Hamas . Anyone who supports Hamas does not care about Palestinian lives .
