Squeak squeak burrow burrow. Is that a ferret reversing?

I thought bigoted women were a tiny minority too, but you can’t move on Mumsnet for falling over them

I'd take a look in the mirror, we are not the bigoted ones.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 22/04/2025 21:40

No, it won’t shame any woman here for her boundaries. We aren’t ashamed of standing up for women and girls. So you can scold all you like - it’s a complete waste of time, because I don’t consider myself morally inferior to people who pretend not to know what a woman is.

I cannot take anyone who writes such nonsense seriously. Born in the wrong body and child suicide claptrap.

Are you actually this awful in real life, or do you just feel braver on the internet, behind an anonymous name, surrounded by other people jeering behind you?

The idea of someone feeling suicidal makes you respond like that? Genuinely? Whatever you think of the trans debate, you can still be a human with empathy.

Do you think it's bigoted if women don't do exactly what men want?

You do don't you?

miraxxx · 22/04/2025 21:41

Mumble12 · 22/04/2025 21:37

No because as I’ve already said, if you’re told someone is trans, you already know the answer and so can’t make a fair guess if you’d have known or not.

Regardless of that, given the way people are speaking about trans women on this thread, I’d feel incredibly uncomfortable about parading anyone out for judgement.

The magically passing trans folks when we know and live with loads who couldn't pass in a hundred years. I grant that I don't know the beautifully passing transfolk, but if they pass so wonderfully, then they don't have a problem do they?

LobeliaBaggins · 22/04/2025 21:42

Mumble12 · 22/04/2025 21:37

I said nothing of the sort. Me calling
you a bigot won’t change your behaviour.

Oh well. Women do get to decide about their safe spaces anyway.

Whether transwomen pass or not is immaterial. They are men.

I am not about to haul anyone out of toilets. But I feel happier knowing that if anything from NHS care to refuges are advertised as single sex, they are genuinely single sex.

Lies and emotional manipulation involving children make me feel like that. I must have also missed the child suicide epidemic.

I would 100% say that to your face, believe me.

I’m happy for everyone to coexist peacefully, keeping my nose out of other peoples business (and their genitals). I don’t think my rights take precedence over anyone else’s. That requires compromise.

Listening to people when they say “this makes me feel worthless” and saying “I don’t care, that’s your problem, I’m looking out for me” isn’t behaviour i want to emulate, so you can think you’re fighting for women, but you don’t stand for me.

Well I’m insanely glad not to know you in real life then and I hope more than anything no one you do know in real life ever has to turn to you for support because that is one of the vilest things I’ve ever read

Says the one who calls women and rape survivors 'bigots' for defending our safe single sex spaces. Where is your empathy for the female sex? You lot are so malevolent and filled with hate and no compassion or empathy for females, only for males who trespass womens spaces and boundaries. How proud you must be, defending male supremacy.

You really are the bad guys, but you genuinely don't realise it.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 22/04/2025 21:46

@Mumble12 Do you honestly think trans rights activists don’t think their rights come before everyone else’s?

Females cannot coexist with males in our spaces. It is literally why female spaces exist.

I’m calling people bigots for failing to acknowledge other people’s discomfort in the pursuit of their own desires.

Being a woman or a rape survivor isn’t a universal experience. We don’t all feel the same way as each other and it’s ridiculous to assume we do.

It’s completely possible to be a woman, a survivor of sexual assault and to also understand that trans women are not the problem.

My priority in life is to safeguard children and not tell them lies. I would never let dangerous fools like you near any child.

But what is it that is making people feel worthless?

Is it being referred to / treated as their biological sex? Because if so, they have a problem with Mother Nature, not any of us.

I’ve been using a family changing room at the gym for the last 18 years. Managed to coexist there without incident. Of course there’ll be incidences where men take advantage. They often do. But all trans women are not men waiting to rape someone. In the same way not all male police officers are murderers like Wayne Couzens.

A surgically fashioned hole (which has to be dilated because it’s basically a wound which constantly tries to heal itself) can be confused for an actual vagina by a medical professional?
Pull the other one.

Medical professionals don't generally go around sticking their fingers inside women when they present unconscious in A&E.

What I am saying is that trans women would turn up in A&E and because their external appearance was so convincingly female, they were getting the wrong treatment/drug doses. Mostly it doesn't matter if someone is male or female but in some rare situations it does affect how you respond to treatment. They were being trained to spot those cases. And yes, it could be very hard to tell some trans women apart from biological women.

DragonRunor · 22/04/2025 21:33

Yep, the suicide myth has been debunked too. Keep up!

”debunked” what are you on about? I know of 3 or 4 real life cases of children who have expressed suicidal thoughts because they felt their body didn’t match their brain. Over years and years of consistently trying to convince their parents that they were in the wrong body. This is the definition of transphobia - denying that it exists. It exists, it’s real and in 20 years time it will be normal and you’ll look like the dinosaur that still can’t get onboard with the modern world.

What would you do if it was your kid? If, over 8 years they consistently, constantly told you they wanted to transition? If they tried to cut their genitals off and told you they’d rather die than stay in the body they have? You’d let them continue feeling that way rather than allowing them to go through the only process that would make them feel normal? I’d call that abuse

FlakyCritic · 22/04/2025 21:49

Then that makes transwomen bigots as they fail to acknowledge women and girls discomfort in pursuit of their own desires for validation, that they will retraumatise a rape or dv survivor in female only spaces because their want for validation is more important than the needs and rights of females. That is pure selfishness and Male Entitlement right there.

ArabellaScott · 22/04/2025 21:50

Roxietrees · 22/04/2025 21:28

Errr because they would probably die. Similarly to how children who feel they are born in the wrong body often feel suicidal because of this. I think most parents would rather have a child change their gender than have a dead child

You will be pleased to hear that gender incongruent children are not at greater risk than other children. Ask Louis Appleby, or Chase Strangio.

So basically Schrodingers trans person. They either exist or don’t exist but you can’t provide any proof because you can’t evidence it
