To think I can't be the only person who doesn't know a single trans person

Seriously.

The news is full of people worrying about how the SC ruling will affect people who identify as trans.

Where are they? Not in my office (large organisation), my family or social groups. I don't come across any in the village where I live or when I go into town.

DD is at university and doesn't know any trans people.

Surely, I can't be the only one?

Old King Cole?

I live in a small(ish) town, and lead a quiet life. In my lreasonably limited circle, I personally know 5, who I count as friends, and a couple who I don't "know" personall, just in passing, but have no reason to believe aren't perfectly nice people. One works in the estate agents, one in Waitrose and one in the local cafe. I'm sure there are others that I just haven't noticed.

You need to have 15-17 year old children. I don't know a single trans adult, but I know about ten trans children. It's massively popular in that age group.
