I often wonder, if all those who think that they are women, let us imagine for a second, were asked 'are you a woman' in the following scenario. Say, they are admitted to A&E in an instance of some new, lethal disease and there are two distinct ways to save them - a male portion of a new drug and a female portion of a new drug and the doctor says 'you have to tell me if you are a man or a woman and I shall administer the right portion, but if you tell me the wrong information, it will kill you, the wrong portion will kill you'. I wonder how many would say 'give me a woman's portion'.

I’m trying to imagine the sad history the judge is referring to. I imagine it involves severe neglect in childhood and perhaps abuse. Many severely neglected children gain comfort from the familiarity of the smell of urine.

However as an adult you have to take responsibility for your adult choices. Whatever you may find comforting, you do not get to involve other people in it. You do not get to commit crimes, to make yourself feel better.

I don’t read the DM but saw this in my news feed on FB so clicked on it. It’s reported elsewhere. I think some of the lefter leaning papers are under pressure not to ‘draw too much attention’ to these cases.

I’m willing bet this is a far bigger problem than only the individuals reported on. They’re reported on as they’re actively engaging in the behaviour but I’m willing to bet there is a seedy underworld where many men enjoy videos etc of these behaviours because they’re not at the stage of dipping their own toes in.
