Stunning 😍

Bogginsthe3rd · 07/04/2025 14:51

For £1.4m I want much more garden. That's a bit of a piss take really. It's otherwise stunning.

DuskyPink1984 · 07/04/2025 14:51

The only room with any character is the living room and no grass makes it a no from me.

CorrectionCentre · 07/04/2025 14:52

The garden is way too small for a house that size and is all paved so it's not the house for me.

Arlanymor · 07/04/2025 14:53

Stunning, but not enough outdoor space and only room for one car around the back? Those would have (the imaginary me with wealth galore) me turn it down.

animalculous · 07/04/2025 14:53

Boring and identikit with no cosiness or character. Too modern. Garden inadequate. Not my cup of tea.

Coali · 07/04/2025 14:54

It’s ok, it’s not particularly exciting. It looks like a lot of the renovated terrace houses near me in London. Inoffensive, easy palette for someone else to put their stamp on. I don’t know anything about Leamington Spa, seems quite expensive?

viques · 07/04/2025 14:55

It has been presented beautifully, and I hope the under the surface work has been done to the same standard, but for that price I would want a bit of distance from the neighbours , more garden and less road.

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 07/04/2025 14:56

I'd love it if it was in London

The tiny garden is perfect for me. Super spacious indoors, perfect 😍

queenofthesuburbs · 07/04/2025 14:57

I think there could be far more elegant houses in leamington spa. The hallway is mean looking

Exactly this.

Ablondiebutagoody · 07/04/2025 14:57

It's a no from me. Feels overdeveloped. For that money I would want more of a plot. Not sure why the EA is making such a big deal of the "garden".

BeMintFatball · 07/04/2025 15:01

It has the wow factor . Great for people who don’t like gardening. But it wouldn’t suit my family. Not enough car parking and for the money I would buy somewhere near the sea

I don't think you could get much further away from the sea if you tried in the UK

the lack of garden wouldn't bother me - the fact id not need a car would entice me (train round the corner and everything is walkable pretty much or uber

It's a lovely house and Leamington Spa is a nice town, but not nice enough to pay nearly £1.5m for a semi-detached house with no real garden.

Middleagedstriker · 07/04/2025 15:21

Where is the grass and flowers and bushes?

I mean it's 10,000 times nicer than my house but for that sort of money I would expect it to be.

vivainsomnia · 07/04/2025 15:24

I agree fully. This new trend to include boring, characterless modern rooms in a traditionally old victorian properties is in my view totally tastless.

YABU

WonderingWanda · 07/04/2025 15:28

Not worth that money. Think I would want a more characterful kitchen for that price rather than the same cheap grey gloss I have.

Wonderwhyibother · 07/04/2025 15:28

If I'm sinking £1.5m on a house it won't be a semi detached so it a no from me.

MidnightPatrol · 07/04/2025 15:29

Looks like every other house I see up for sale tbh.

£1.4m for 3500sqft is good - you’d probably pay £1.4m for 1500 sqft locally here (in London).

SleepyHollowed84 · 07/04/2025 15:30

Is this your house OP?

Didimum · 07/04/2025 15:31

It's a nice enough house, but the garden is a big disappointment, and I don't do eves bedrooms with no loft. Would not pay pay £1.4m for this kind of house though.

Ossoduro2 · 07/04/2025 15:32

I know nothing about the area so can’t judge price etc, but the house looks lovely. The garden is north facing and the bit that is ‘west’ is narrow and so I doubt any of it gets much sun unfortunately.

I would want more parking!

LavenderBlue19 · 07/04/2025 15:33

It's nice enough, but a bit soulless. I love that style of house but prefer more character and a more old-fashioned finish.

I really dislike the kitchen - far too shiny - and the garden is crap, and for those two reasons I wouldn't buy it.
