Stunning but that price for a semi with limited parking and outdoor space its a lot. I'd want more for my money

Historyofwolves · 07/04/2025 16:06

Not a book in sight. Says it all. 😏

RosaMoline · 07/04/2025 16:08

Another beautiful, characterful property ruined by bland, clinical interiors.

Eminybob · 07/04/2025 16:08

I’m not going to lie, if someone offered it to me for free I’m not going to say no, but if I was going to spend £1.5m I could do better.

Nice house though, nicely decorated. I don’t know leamington spa , I’m assuming it’s a nice area?

eqpi4t2hbsnktd · 07/04/2025 16:09

Nah boring and not even detached.

PhilippaGeorgiou · 07/04/2025 16:12

That amount of white would blind me (and soon be a mucky grey once the dog has been there two weeks) and the photographer is good - those angles make it look a lot bigger than it actually is.

EmeraldDreams73 · 07/04/2025 16:13

Lovely and spacious but too modern for me, feels a bit overdeveloped. Leamington's a lovely area so I'm not sure if you'd get more for your money there, but for that amount I'd want more parking and more character, though the garden doesn't put me off as we're crap at gardening.

I don't like the mock Tudor thing on the outside personally either.

Nettleskeins · 07/04/2025 16:14

Horrible

fussychica · 07/04/2025 16:16

I'd definitely want detached for 1.4m so I didn't even bother looking at the interior. Not that I've got 1.4m!

Bluevelvetsofa · 07/04/2025 16:18

The garden is far too small for a house that size.

It isn’t really one thing or the other. The reception rooms are traditional, but the kitchen and bathrooms are quite different.

Somehow it just doesn’t seem coherent.

StripesZigZags · 07/04/2025 16:21

@@ that's a lot of money for no garden at all.

I really hate this fashion for massive white tiled as someone above said souless kitchens that have huge bifold doors with black crittal style windows. They are all so identikit. You could be in any house anywhere.

Crispyturtle · 07/04/2025 16:23

I like the living room.
I hate the kitchen style and the garden is horrible, 1.5 million quid and not a blade of grass, nah.
The upstairs is inoffensive.
Not what I would go for if I had that kind of money to spend, would rather go further out and not live cheek by jowl with the neighbours.

There are lots of books in pictures 9 and 11.

PaintDecisions · 07/04/2025 16:26

I like a feature radiator, but not when they are placed on the wrong walls and taking up huge amounts of space in every room which means you can never place anything there. Features are no longer features when they are in every room.

It also tells me that if you need that level of BTU in every room, the house is absolutely freezing cold.

sharkanado · 07/04/2025 16:28

It's stunning but the interiors don't look very high spec

Wildywondrous · 07/04/2025 16:29

I think it's the op's house, it's OK but nothing special and not the sort of house that usually gets posted on here and classed as property porn.

Not my house, I posted a house in leamington spa last school holidays - looking again today that had sold or removed from market and so I posted another

maybe they have a kindle...

AnnaQuayInTheUk · 07/04/2025 16:33

@Wildywondrous you might be right. I did think it was a bit odd for a "property porn" thread as the house is not extreme in any way.

Soone · 07/04/2025 16:35

Dreadful. For property porn I was expecting something really special. All I can imagine is that this is your house and you are desperately trying to drum up views and interest.

MikeRafone · 07/04/2025 16:41

None of them are my mine, not this house or the two I linked to last half term. I just look at homes over 1 million, thats my parameter for pp

Are you an estate agent trying to gather opinions on properties? I’m confused.

OfNoOne · 07/04/2025 16:44

Nice enough, but not my style.

pearbottomjeans · 07/04/2025 16:44

Errr I think it's trying HARD to be special but it's pretty bloody basic. I don't like the random side return patio thing that has no space around it - sofa facing the wall for example. V odd.

All the properties the OP lists are from Fine & Country. I think Mumsnet should start tapping them up for commission like they do with all other affiliate links and shopping threads.
