No it's a semi.

Bpickle1 · 07/04/2025 15:33

very bland and soulless inside, bit of a shame really

Wrongsideofpennines · 07/04/2025 15:35

No from me. Partly because the garden is small and there's no grass or greenery. But also who wants to be carting laundry up and down 3 flights of stairs to the utility room.

vivainsomnia · 07/04/2025 15:24

Boring and identikit with no cosiness or character. Too modern. Garden inadequate. Not my cup of tea

I agree fully. This new trend to include boring, characterless modern rooms in a traditionally old victorian properties is in my view totally tastless.

I don’t understand this attitudes. Every era has modernised current housing stock. The Victorian’s added cornice, ornate plaster work and of course modern technologies to plainer older houses. No one said they were being tasteless. It’s totally appropriate to modernise. Otherwise people end up looking like they’ve created a pastiche of a previous generation

Anotherparkingthread · 07/04/2025 15:36

Bland. You can get the exact same house for under a third of the price if youre willing to look elseware in the country. It's nothing special but it's really trying to be.

Could do much better and have a million in change lol

crumblingschools · 07/04/2025 15:36

I would hope next door wasn’t a student house! Very popular town for Warwick uni students

Pancakeflipper · 07/04/2025 15:38

Lovely house but I want a drive big enough for a few cars, bigger garden with grass/plants/worms for that money.

AnnaQuayInTheUk · 07/04/2025 15:39

I really like the house but not the garden.

Notgoodatpoetrybutgreatatlit · 07/04/2025 15:41

It's very well presented. But it's a bit awkwardly placed in the market. A large house with so many bedrooms usually appeals to young families but this property has not much garden or parking which are usually important to that demographic. Also the style is a bit of a compromise its not period appropriate and it's not full on contemporary. It's not Arthur or Martha as we used to say.
I am not sure it will sell quickly because of the issues around it's demographic appeal. I think you can get top dollar for beautifully finished properties, but this one may be held back a bit. Personally I'd want Soho or Bloomsbury for that price, but I only need a two bedroom.
I would however live in the Omaze London Bridge house if I win it. I'm a mass of contradictions me.

Yellowhammer09 · 07/04/2025 15:42

The exterior is nice but it's almost devoid of character. For that amount I'd want to not have to do any work.

MyKingdomForACat · 07/04/2025 15:42

I love it ❤️

RitaAndFrank · 07/04/2025 15:44

I had no idea houses in Warwickshire were so expensive - 1.5M for a semi detached with no garden seems a lot to me.
It’s pretty from the outside but inside it’s bland af. I know it can be changed easily, but every room is painted a soulless grey! And the kitchen looks like every other.

Purplecatshopaholic · 07/04/2025 15:45

Nice house but I would want a lot more garden for that money. And town house is just basically a semi isn’t it..

Mansionscoldandgrey · 07/04/2025 15:47

It looks like you won't be finding a buyer here 😅

senua · 07/04/2025 15:47

It's a no from me.
I like the reception rooms but hate the rest of it: the kitchen, the grey bedrooms, the non-garden and lack of parking.
You could have this for less money.

Nannyfannybanny · 07/04/2025 15:48

No,where's it's victoria features! You could buy a modern property instead. Garden was too small, and it's a semi.

Burngreave · 07/04/2025 15:48

It’s obviously a lovely house, with a lot of charm from the outside. However, I’m not sure it’s a jaw dropper - it’s the kind of decor / interior that you see a lot of everywhere.

Donkiss · 07/04/2025 15:50

Noooo. Not for that amount of money.

There's no garden (OK, there's a patio, but no garden).

It just feels like a semi that's been way overdeveloped.

SpectatorInLife · 07/04/2025 15:51

No. Hate the outdoor space and the kitchen. And the bathrooms and the pale grey blank bedrooms. Very few original features left to give character and elegance. The downstairs rooms are nice.

Motherknowsrest · 07/04/2025 15:51

It's nice but it needs a garden. Half of that patio would need to come up for some grass. I'd be miserable never having cool grass under my feet.

jackiesgirl · 07/04/2025 15:53

The house is lovely but the garden is a massive let down

Oldandcobwebby · 07/04/2025 15:55

It is very pleasant inside, but £1.4m for a semi with no garden worth talking about, and 1 garage for 5 bedrooms? Sod that for a game of soldiers!

Hollowvoice · 07/04/2025 15:58

Yeah, I would

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 07/04/2025 16:00

It’s a no from me. Very boring and bland interior and no proper garden. I was in that area recently for work and saw much nicer houses for sale for similar money.
