How much have you got left in your current account? If payday is Monday? I think I’m doing quite well with 141.36 šŸ˜…

Ā£37.66. But have enough food, drink, nappies and fuel to get us through

£55. But £50 of that needs to go out tomorrow to pay wraparound childcare for the week ahead. Been a really tight few months. There's food in though and a small amount on a credit card in case of any dire emergency!

Any Nectar points or club card points? I cash them in when things are tight

is there anyone who isn’t paid monthly or is that standard now?

I’m paid fortnightly.

I work for myself, so I have a look at the business account every Saturday to see if I can pay myself. Managed to pay myself £600 this week, so I have about £1k, so even if I can't pay myself for a week or two I'm fine for now

@lilkitten all I have to say is you are amazing! I don’t have the mindset for entrepreneurship at all. I would find that all too hard, I would love to be able to. You are fab!!

Monday payday for me as well and I’ve got about Ā£400 left. Probably be around Ā£380ish by the time Monday actually arrives.

The past couple of years is the first time I can ever remember having leftover money and savings so it’s definitely not always been like this. I transfer savings out on payday then also save anything left over on the next payday. I’m not a high earner at all but I save between Ā£500-1000 per month. I don’t have much in the way of outgoings compared to what I used to have and I understand how very fortunate I am to be able to do this now.
