So sick of the endless grey weather

I'm so fed up of opening my curtains to grey. When is spring coming? Its so depressing.

I had something come through on my Facebook feed today to remind people not to cut back any hedging after 1st March until the end of August as this can destroy birds' nests.

Im in the midlands and have had 5 bright sun days this week, winter sun and blue Skys, followed by frosty nights as no cloud cover

It's basically sweeping and early pruning of bare shrubs. I'm also cleaning pots in preparation for the seeds I'm growing. I don't clean up properly until the end of March.

I actually got washing dried outside today! Loving the sunshine, I can cope with cold , crisp mornings, and when it warms up like the last couple of days, it just tops it off.
I've been spring cleaning with a vengeance.

Lovely day again.

Just had the 6th or 7th day in a row, of clear, lovely, sunny weather. 9-13 degrees C daytime temperatures throughout. (North Midlands.) Absolutely gorgeous! Long may it last! 😎

Cold and frosty at night though. Minus 1 to minus 3 C! Frost on the ground til 9 or 10 am-ish the next day!

Thick fog until around 11am, then should be more glorious sunshine for the rest of the day, south coast. 😟
