so I'm in no way, shape or form "woo" buuutttt just been sitting on side of my bed texting on my phone and my soundbar for TV (which I've had for 4 years with no issues) just decided to launch itself onto the floor, has hit my foot and cut it, picked it back up thinking how weird 🤷🤷 went back to my phone and a bottle of water, tube of face cream and a lip balm on top of my chest of drawers then launched themselves across the room, pretty freaked out by this point but still being rational in my head, picked phone back up carried on messaging back a friend, looked up to think what I was trying to type and felt a big tap /slap and literally saw my phone fly in the air and land other side of room, trying hard to think rationally but feeling pretty spooked right now
😭there's a rational reason for all this, yes???

Is there a military base nearby, testing some sort of magnetic weapon? 😅

Tacsi · 09/02/2025 21:00

absolutely pmsl at some of these replies 😂but as a "non believer" in spooky shite, I'm actually quite spooked by this spooky shite😭 but reading replies and ingaging my rational thought, I'm convinced there's an explanation for it, even if I don't quite know what it is right now🙄

It’s because of the OP in another post today not putting the huge old bible she found, back in its hiding space. Too late now.

Hahaha this got me

Friend of mine has a house with a ghost cat. His own cat plays with it and it can be heard running up/down the stairs. He has heard children playing upstairs (there are no children) and workmen have left after being tapped on the shoulder. Their kettle was turning itself on which electrically isn't possible. And a guitar strummed itself when his wife was in the room. They just live with it.My daughter is desperate to go there!!!

PearlClutzsche · 09/02/2025 21:01

Can the sage wafters please explain to me how this works? Are poltergeists allergic to sage?
Would rosemary or thyme work if you have no sage?

Probably a mouse!

brassandswitch · 09/02/2025 21:02

Does your fire alarms work? Could you be poisoned by carbon monoxide? Have you started any new medication? Could you have had a lucid dream and not realised?
If this happened to me OP I would've ran out of the house or froze 🤣

We're on the Anglesey flight path.

Throwing lip balm at her? 🤣

Shera12 · 09/02/2025 21:03

I feel like there is no good explanation for this. Whether it’s ghost/earthquake/sinkhole/carbon monoxide. Nothing about this is good.

I’d move.

Bellyblueboy · 09/02/2025 21:03

Have you experienced hallucinations before?

Good idea to make an appointment with your doctor.

Hairyfairy01 · 09/02/2025 21:04

Are you thinking of selling / moving / renting / big changes in anyway at all OP? Anything in particular you were texting your friend about?

StMarie4me · 09/02/2025 21:05

LillyPJ · 09/02/2025 20:29

Yes - there is a rational explanation for it and it's nothing 'supernatural' or 'paranormal'. It's just a strange but unexplained event - and you might never get to the bottom of it. It does sound very weird though, and slightly unsettling!

What is your evidence for this assertion?

Tacsi · 09/02/2025 21:05

BuoyBoyBy · 09/02/2025 20:43

Have you seen the episode of breaking bad where they destroyed a laptop with incriminating evidence by driving by the police station in a truck with a ginormous magnet in the back.
Do you live near a police station?

never seen a episode of BB, do I need to watch this to find out why I've freaky shinaganes going on in my bedroom??
police station is 5/6 miles away

Do get a carbon monoxide alarm if you haven’t got one. Ovens, fires, central healing, can be a source. Exposure can cause these type of experiences.

A minor earthquake could cause this, but nothing has been reported for Wales. Are you near any mine workings?

haha nope totally sane honest, I actually don't believe in all this but I know what I saw which makes it weirder!!

Can't find anything odd on flight radar.

No idea, not a scooby, I'm on the 'what harm could it do?' (barring setting off your smoke alarm), side of things. I'd be fine lighting up an entire bouquet of herbes de provence if I thought there was a poltergeist about.

Elphame · 09/02/2025 21:09

Are you in the Conwy valley? If so - then I'm sorry, That might have been my fault!

Amaranthasweetandfair · 09/02/2025 21:09

It must be some sort of earth tremor or similar that's caused a vibration in your home I guess. Not sure what other explanation there could be.

Apillthatmakesyousayalltherightstuff · 09/02/2025 21:09

Anything in your local FB groups?

Thereislightattheendofthetunnel · 09/02/2025 21:09

There are some smudging sage kits in TK maxx at the moment.

I also heard that black tourmaline is a stone for protection. You might want to have one close.

I would be freaking out by this event to be fair.

Having an hallucination doesn’t make you insane - it can be a symptom of a number of medical conditions.

what you saw is impossible. It’s not a ghost or magic.

if you truly believe you saw things fly across your room then you need to see a doctor.
