Is this woman a genius or a damaged individual?Bonnie Blue

I've fallen down a bit of a rabbit hole lately reading about Bonnie Blue and her mate Lily Phillips.

Both are Only Fans 'stars'. Who've recently gone all over the internet. One for having sex with 100 men in 24 hours and more recently Bonnie Blue for claiming to have broken the world record by having sex with over 1000 men in 12 hours.

I've seen some of their leaked only fans stuff and it's all pretty tame and dull but also quite gross in my opinion. Lots of group sex with multiple masked men who call them slluts and slap their willies in the womens faces while the women pretend to be having the time of their lives.

Lily Philips imo looks particular distressed in some of the videos. Bonnie looks much more detached from it.

Bonnie is also making the news with some of her stunts and derogatory comments about women. All done for click bait I'm sure.

Anyway, onto my aibu.

Even putting aside the very obvious dangers and health risks. Bonnie Blue is now a millionaire. She could probably retire by 30 and be set for life.

I can't decide whether I think she's extremely savvy and smart to be able to do these things but ultimately scone a very rich woman or whether she's deep down very distressed and damaged and will suffer long term.

Do you think you could do any of the things this woman has done if it guaranteed you'd be a millionaire in a few years?

The Dubai girls are known as 'porta potties'

Lovelysummerdays · 15/01/2025 18:33

I think it’s a bit of both, it’s clever marketing but I think commodification of yourself for sex is going to be problematic in the longer term. I think substance abuse/ drug abuse, alchoholism, mental health problems, self harm and suicide is all pretty common in the sex industry. It’s also a relatively short lived career as there will always be a younger model willing to do more extreme things.

butterpuffed · 15/01/2025 18:34

It's going to come back to bite her if she ever wants a normal partner/children.

I doubt she'll find one and even if she does , they would soon leave when they discover her history , which they're bound to .
.

Although I wouldn’t go as far as having sex with these men, I wish I was young enough and built for Only Fans instead of slogging my guts out for 40 years in social care. Who are the real mugs here

The former record was 919 in 24 hours which was set in 2004 so it's not a new phenomenon.

Paulettamcgee · 15/01/2025 18:49

So much is wrong with this. The fact there are hundreds, if not the stated 1000s of men who will effectively have sex with a woman who is barely there.

Men really do show us what they think of us.

Sheaintheavyshesmymother · 15/01/2025 18:50

I think this idea the women will be somehow irreversibly ruined by these sexual experiences is extremely misogynistic. Of course a sexual experience can be traumatic for a huge number of reasons but the assumption that a sex worker is somehow “selling her soul” or being “ruined forever” by shagging lots of people is to me pretty offensive. Ask yourself honestly, if this was a man who shagged 1000 women in one day would you be asking the internet what kind of future he might have?

StrawberryDream24 · 15/01/2025 18:51

FedUp2025 · 15/01/2025 17:20

It's just sex work . Worlds oldest prfession.

This always makes me eye roll.

Prostitute.

Not hunter, no.

Not stone cutter.

Hermitta · 15/01/2025 18:52

I can never get behind the sex 'work' positive crowd.

No one would want their child to do this. Majority wouldn't want their spouse to do this. Any child would be damaged beyond belief to discover their mother did this.

It's one of those things where even those shouting 'YASS QUEEEEN' would never want for their loved ones either.

The only women and girls I've seen go into this work were either desperate substance abusers, damaged by awful parenting or just too dim to think through the future implications. And then there are the poor ones being forced and trafficked.

It doesn't just damage and impact them though. There are studies showing that in areas where prostitution is decriminalised and in the open, sex attacks and assaults on women and girls who AREN'T sex workers go up.

It dehumanised us all, and is never 'empowering'.

Having sex consensually with someone you're attracted to and being penetrated for hours on end by a conveyor belt of strangers are totally different things. It's incredibly naive to think it's not going to have a psychological effect on you.

SabreIsMyFave · 15/01/2025 18:24

😖 WTAF?! Confused Who does that? What women let Arabs shit in their mouth to get a designer handbag?!

Or are you making this up for dramatic affect?!

It's an actual thing apparently. Some of the glossy Dubai influencers are allegedly up to pretty horrible stuff to earn money and designer clothes. (I only know this from tattle and other gossip sites).

JackJarvisEsq · 15/01/2025 18:57

I learned about lily through a YouTuber who does reaction videos

he did one on lily and the documentary maker and he hit the nail on the head when he said her behaviour is a form of self harm

valentinka31 · 15/01/2025 18:57

I remember an interview with Lily where she said 'what people are forgetting here is that this is also my fantasy'. She does love the guys lining up desperate to f... her.

I don't think they are particularly damaged. I think they are just hyped up on fame, attention and the money. It's just another version of a viral hook. It's short-sighted short-lived notoriety, but yes it's making them very rich.

Even though I've been defrauded out of the best part of a million pounds myself, I still wouldn't earn it back like this. I'd find another way. I feel my body, and my sexual energy, are kind of precious and not for general consumption.

ladymuckofthemanor · 15/01/2025 18:57

She is fucking vile, but by posting the footage on her onlyfans is making over £500,000 a month.

Shes already millionaire.

Her and the men that take part, combined with how easy it is to make a fortune from it, are what is wrong with society.

andIsaid · 15/01/2025 18:57

Even if (and it is a BIG if) she made that much money those people who do that kind of stuff end up spending it all and die sad, addicted and broke.

I am happy to be proved wrong but nobody ever seems able to produce the date.

Odd, when you consider how much porn there is.

I think this is just paid for PR for Only Fans. I do not believe for one second it grew organically.

Utterly sad though.

You're helping people.

You can have pride in your work

You can be honest about your work.

Your work, when people know about it, doesn't mean they will be shocked/uncomfortable/think it reflects your morality, self esteem, attitude to human relationships etc.

How do you think either woman will be treated at the school gates if they have kids?

What do you think people's attitudes will be to them and unfortunately, by default, their children)?

You don't have to worry about your kids or other relatives finding out what you've done. You don't have to worry about your kids finding or being sent videos of what you've done, beng bullied and wound up your "work" for years.

DorianMeile · 15/01/2025 18:58

If you turned up at my door with a queue of 1000 men and a few million quid and asked me if I'd have sex with them for the money I'd tell you where to stick it (certainly not in my vagina). Money isn't everything, especially if you are deeply unhappy which I suspect they may be.

housethatbuiltme · 15/01/2025 18:58

I support women rights to do as they want with their body, I think its dangerous to let someone else decide whats 'ladylike'. I know I have known porn stars, prostitutes/escorts and strippers etc... through my old job and they where seemingly normal/lovely people.

That said in general porn factually has the highest suicide rate of almost all jobs, in fact one study (although not conclusive fact) claimed the average life span of a porn star is under 40 years old. It does often attract people with 'issues', its very 'visible' (unlike stripping or even prostitution where people can often give it up and start a new life easily so once famous it will always be with you) and depending on what 'type' people do can have lifelong medical issues (incontinence can be common for example, I have encountered people who had nasty accidents with sharp acrylic nails etc...).

The more professional/famous the more likely to commit suicide later. So I think worrying these girls may have or develop mental issues is fair.

Some people are just very savvy business people though, a lot of people can make a mint on things that do not effect their mental health at all. If anyone wanted to buy I would HAPPILY be a foot fetish model (actually much more work than people assume) and to be honest Ive always thought people selling their used knickers, shoes, tights etc... are kind of genius (no real down sides, making bank and no laundry lol).

not quite the same but its like how footballers get millions for playing football etc, compared to essential roles for society eg security services , and other essential roles

Smart would have been to just marry a millionaire, if thats the goal.
Would have been much easier 🤷🏻‍♀️

Edited

at a guess some of the comments would be dont let x husbands talk to her, dont want him being lead astray etc.

but in general you could be an angel and someone will still find faults etc

not for everyone, as you would have to mix in the right circles, then you would need to study your person to know the financials etc,

I agree.

"Lily"said that she was shagging loads of men before and this wasn't much different, may as well get paid etc ...but it is. It is different.

Going home with someone you're attracted to for a fully consensual shag is not this.

She said she disassociated during it.

Apparently she was upset after.

Fun sex with someone you're attracted to and want to shag does not lead to disassociation and teariness being upset.
