Gym changing rooms. Woman sat butt naked on vinyl type benches while she rubbed body lotion in for about 10 mins. Bare arse and foof all over furniture which others are using. Put some knickers on ffs, I don't care if you're naked but please don't rub your lady bits all over the furniture 🤮

There was a woman like this at my gym - she'd always spend ages naked, rubbing lotions into her skin. Then one day my friend was in the sauna and this woman came in starkers, lay down on the same bench and drew her legs up like a roast chicken. You can imagine the view my friend got!

Quite frankly I’d consider that indecent exposure in a public place, and tell her so. Exhibitionists exposing themselves to others without consent must be a crime.

There was a woman at my gym who used to walk round stark naked and bend over in front of people. Absolutely foul. I've never been able to work out if people like this have zero self awareness or just enjoy other people's discomfort. Put some knickers on!

I haven't been to a gym for eons but I do remember being repulsed by the dried sweat on the seats and equipment, never seemed to be cleaned.

Maybe it's just the way I sit, but my vulva and anus do not come in contact with whatever I am sitting on, and I can't see that a freshly showered bum cheek is any less hygienic than the rest of my body.

Haven't been in a gym changing room in nearly 20 years. Pretty sure I was being posted about on MN, as I used to shower naked in a pool changing room all the way through my first pregnancy. It felt incredibly liberating.

That's what I was thinking! The showered skin of my buttocks isn't magically more horrible than that of my upper arms. And nothing beyond my skin is touching anything when I sit down.

As for those who mentioned discharge - jesus, how long do you think she's sitting there?

There's a mixture of nudity and not in the council leisure centre I use. Nobody much cares either way. Or rather, those who do, I assume, use the cubicles rather than the female changing room.

Whilst I'm on the subject of gross things seen at David Lloyd, here are other examples of grossness I've seen there over the years.

  1. Small child left a 'brown deposit' 💩 on the floor of one of the showers (lots of toddlers left to shower unsupervised sometimes)
  2. Chewed up gum in the cup holder of one of the gym machines
  3. Fake eyelash stuck to outside of locker

And I pay £100 a month for the privilege of all this.... Still love my gym though.

At my previous gym I saw all of the above at various points and another few that spring to my mind are:

  1. A pair of mens underpants dangling off of a very high light fitting
  2. A full set of acrylic nails that had been clipped off and left on the side
  3. Visible arse sweat left on seated machines (I get that this happens but why would you not use the anti bac wipes dotted around everywhere??)

I'm totally fine being naked in changing rooms, but wouldn't put my vag on a bench for my own safety as much as anyone else's - think how filthy those benches are! Surely she should sit on a towel to lotion up.

One the other day was a stark naked, 50 something woman, oiling herself all over and really taking her time with the classic leg up and vag on display stance that seems to be popular with this type. Looking like she was loving every second of it and taking her time. I couldn't help but get the feeling it was for my benefit. I just took my stuff and moved to another section.

Glad it’s not just me. Quite enjoyed using the treadmill but sometimes I just used to leave and go home to shower because quite frankly it was “performative” nudity in the changing room. Who blow dries their hair whilst wearing nothing. Bending over etc. Nope, not for me. I found it unsavoury

That's brazen and gross. Why can't she put a towel down? DH had seen similar sights in the male changing rooms, including a pair of damp, musty low hangers swinging near his face when he took off his shoes. She must be doing it on purpose!

Reminds me of a gym I used to go to. There was a woman who always seemed to be naked in the changing room every single time. I’d arrive and put my stuff in the locker and she’d be standing naked with her foot up on the bench, having cornered some poor gym goer with non-stop talking. When I finished my workout and went back in the changing room an hour later she’d still be naked and would have cornered someone else! I was always careful not to make eye contact or even look in her direction - who stands around naked for over an hour?!

I get that some people are body confident but for those of you who are, don’t assume everyone wants to see your bits, I would think ( and from what is evident in this post) the majority of people do not
