Gym changing rooms. Woman sat butt naked on vinyl type benches while she rubbed body lotion in for about 10 mins. Bare arse and foof all over furniture which others are using. Put some knickers on ffs, I don't care if you're naked but please don't rub your lady bits all over the furniture 🤮

I've never been to a gym and have no intention of doing so. I am a bit of a germophobe and the very thought of all that sweat and bodily fluids en masse makes me shudder. I'm not that keen on swimming pools either.

In my gym it's the younger fitter ones who walk about with hardly anything on! The older mum bods cover up.
In my gym it's definitely the older women who don't seem to give af.

Wow this brings back memories. Very nice small athletic club with staffed changing rooms I was 25 or 26. Younger than me female who was tall and slender and having an affair with a member who was 20+ years older than her would get ready for “dates” and spend and hour doing makeup and grooming herself while wearing garter belt tiny g string and stockings and heels. Her mother and father both worked out there too and knew about the performance and yet you would see them taking to both the man and his wife while their young daughter posed in garter belt in front of the entire locker room.

Yes - wrap yourself in a towel or one of those ponchos. There's no need to be naked or even be exposed for any length of time.

Nudity in changing rooms is a-okay: goes with the turf. But whilst I'm sure 'women can be perverts too', unlike men, this is exceptionally rare. I've swum every week for more years than I care to remember: only once in all that time have I encountered a flash of accidentally-exposed vag and never the kinds of exhibitionism mentioned upthread.

I’m not sure just getting dressed after a shower is anything other than normal. Of course there are people who enjoy exhibiting themselves more than is necessary, and that can be a bit much. But the “I’ll never understand the need to be butt naked in the changing rooms” comment…really? You genuinely can’t understand why anyone would need to be naked? (As opposed to I can’t understand why people parade their bits ostentatiously, which would make far more sense)

I had one doing a kind of workout involving naked downward dog in the sauna next to me. Disquieting.

It smacks of exhibitionism - maybe she gets off on it. Or is a bit doolally. I’m guessing gyms/saunas will often attract the kind of people who actively enjoy shoving their nakedness in peoples faces.

Worse IMO are dog owners who let their pooches sit on chairs in cafes - wtf? I was most pleased recently when a member of staff told a woman “please take your dog off the chair”. People are just so entitled - it’s like they’re daring people to say something.

Gross. Don't think anyone takes any notice if they get a quick flash whilst the person is getting dried or dressed. The whole lingering, performance element is just vile especially when you can dry your hair or apply lotion wearing underwear.
Once found a used tampon in the shower area. My membership then ended and I never returned. Joe Wicks on You Tube all the way.

Could be worse Barbara and dorris (not real names) spend a good few minutes drying their "undercarriage" with the communal hair dryers after aqua aerobics...

How do you sit?! What’s your bodily anatomy like? Do you have mega buns of steel that you balance on?

For those wondering why anyone would blow dry the minge, it was actually recommended by my hospital after giving birth. Obviously using on cool not hot, and just briefly. It was to help thoroughly dry the area to help with healing and reduce infections. I was extensively stitched though. They laughed when I asked how many stitches and said that they lost count.

Maybe the fanny blowdryers are susceptible to thrush? Still, it’s not okay to do that with a communal hair dryer. Eau de foof wafting around the change room instead of a standard air freshener.

Loving this thread. It’s both hilarious and horrifying. Thank goodness I don’t go to the gym or the pool to experience the shared nudity and weird post-shower grooming performances.
