They were your words. You don't seen to see anything wrong with the drugging & raping of children. You called stopping those atrocities a "dictatorship "!

You asked whether KC could dissolve government. So in your words you are calling for the dissolution of democracy and installation of a dictatorial king. Do you not understand how UK democracy works? Are you British?

Alexandra2001 · 03/01/2025 13:34

You claimed CSA is still happening, so take your evidence to them, the Police need the cooperation of the public.

You may have important leads.

I would imagine that any reported leads would be investigated immediately & any perpetrators would feel the full force of the law straight away wouldn't you!

No thank you "love" I'd prefer a global one from Netflix that will show the world how those girls were failed. BBC too small fry.

Look at how an ITV drama publicised the Horizon scandal?

Perhaps you could play the part of Sarah Champion?

CandlesClementines · 03/01/2025 13:37

Three girls I think is still on bbc I player and is deeply moving upsetting watch.

wholettheturnipsburn · 03/01/2025 13:34

Well yes. It's sad how many people don't see this

100% THIS.

There will be many idiots who fall for it.

Mainly because it fits their hateful views.

None of them are angry about the proven child abusers in Tommy Robinson's ranks, are they?

I wonder why 🤔

I think it was a disgusting tweet.

I think it’s more disgusting that society lets young, underprivileged girls fall to the wayside. That’s the point LA was making.

Nanny0gg · 03/01/2025 13:38

BananaNirvana · 03/01/2025 08:57

Of course, because Musk really cares and isn’t just using this as another way to promote his far right policies and get Farage elected.

This horror absolutely needs to be fully investigated but Musk should not be allowed to interfere in UK politics in the way he is doing - he is an incredibly dangerous man.

How about non-elected celebrities interfering in other countries' actions?

PureBoggin · 03/01/2025 13:38

Fluufer · 03/01/2025 08:57

I do agree that action should be taken, but I'd really rather the ego maniac mega rich stay out of our politics. Elon doesn't actually give a shit, he's stirring for own benefit and we shouldn't encourage it.

But this is what happens when political parties become ineffectual and don't appear to be listening to those they are supposed to represent. It allows the "truth-tellers" to gain in popularity and power. It's what happened with Trump. Elin Musk is an egotistical maniac, he's also an agitator and change-maker. We are going to see more and more and more of this undemocratic influence as long as we have weak-willed, self-serving politicians.

The problem of children as young as 11 being doused in petrol, raped with bottles, and anally penetrated by multiple men gets significantly reduced though!

No-one is arguing that we should ignore other CSA or that this will fix everything but we also shouldn't be blind to obvious patterns.

You looked at all those letters and words and came away with a completely different understanding didn’t you.

You are happy that a foreign billionaire with history of using governments to advance his financial gain is putting pressure on your elected government? Are you an idiot?

Anyone who genuinely thinks the intervention of Elon Musk into the politics of their country is A Good Thing, and is being done with their countries best interests at heart, is an idiot.

there are lots around. Many on this thread and it’s scary.

JHound · 03/01/2025 13:41

JHound · 03/01/2025 13:32

The point she is making is valid is badly stated. There seems to be a huge problem in how vulnerable girls are viewed / treated. Everybody is focused on race but there is a reason all the victims are from lower socioeconomic backgrounds / the care system.

If these were wealthy middle class white forms being targeted the relevant agencies would have acted with a rapid ferocity.

*Wealthy middle class white girls.

thousandsofdreams · 03/01/2025 13:41

MojoMoon · 03/01/2025 13:27

Ah, yes, many people living in dictatorships have often been remarked on their special care for the most vulnerable people in society and particular care of vulnerable women and girls.

Just thinking about all those examples of strong, powerful dictators who always protected women, including from abuse by their own henchmen and security services

Oh hang on...

This thread is not about democracy vs dictatorship. it is about acting on the recommendations of the enquiry, and the question about what is still going on now.

If you want to discuss democracy, the tyranny of the majority vs dictatorship, communism, nationalism, socialism, capitalism, I think you should start a new thread. The question is not so much "are we a democracy" but "how we are being a democracy?" - there are many ways of interpreting the meaning of democracy - is the way we do democracy benefitting most of our people? Vulnerable people? Same for dictatorships. Hitler - extraordinary inhumanity perpetrated by his party, but his party also put in place policies which were for the benefit of workers, young people - watch the film about Sophie Scholl, these issues come up in interviews. Stalin - purges and gulags, but improved lives of the majority of peasants, brought in welfare reforms, improved literacy significantly, improved lives of older people etc etc.

I believe in democracy but i also believe that the way we do democracy right now does not help most people and does not carry out the will of the most people, does not function fit for purpose.

Anyway the poster upthread said "if dictatorship can stop people being raped then bring it on" I don't think she meant "I want there to be a dictatorship in the UK" in all seriousness.

Chainzreaction · 03/01/2025 13:30

What is my true motive? This is massive news & it deserves to be discussed!
It would be disgusting if this scandal was allowed to fade away. We must never forget. It is right to keep it to the forefront.
Our government & justice system failed to protect children from being raped & drugged.
That is disgusting not starting a thread about Elon Musk weighing in on the scandal.
Seriously check your privilege & get your priorities straight. I seriously doubt you have children.
Btw the days of "no debate" are long gone!

I seriously doubt you are capable of critical thinking.

OneAmberFinch · 03/01/2025 13:42

Literally a week ago Elon Musk was being hounded over his stance on H1B immigration to the US - arguing that the US should significantly lift/raise their caps on bringing in mainly Indian engineers. His position was that he built his companies alongside brilliant minds from all over the world and the US should be more welcoming to high-skilled immigration.

He got trashed for it by Trump fans fwiw.

He may have personal reasons for wanting to distract from that, or for wanting to boost Reform, but based on his profile, I don't think he has an issue with quote-unquote "brown people".

I think regardless of any other motivations, he also genuinely DOES have an issue with child rape and torture gangs. Weird I know but it takes all kinds...!

There have been several major trials and lots of men are in prison for a very long time.

How many of those are police officers, council workers, politicians for the cover up?

Exactly so many more involved who had the power to all, all need to be investigated. In fact anyone with any knowledge who failed to act.

Why a Netflix documentary to show globally - I doubt the rest of the world gives a shit, and frankly has its own problems to worry about

What do you think the world is going to do? Do you not think other countries have their own problems?

It’s clear you have an agenda, and it’s not the plight of the young girls.
