To be suspicious of this receipt

DH is out at a hobby. While he is out I decided to put on a wash. I routinely empty DH trouser pockets before washing as they always have train tickets, receipts etc. In amongst everything was one for a £300 gift card for a large shopping complex. We don’t ever shop in this place as it is a distance away. I didn’t receive this gift card. Neither did his DS or DM as we spent Christmas together. This is a sizeable amount of money for us. I don’t know what to think.

Sorry, can you tell me where I went wrong with my reply, please?

@MischkasMum if you had read all OPs posts you would have seen she did ask him outright and there was a very innocent explanation.

That question only arrived in my emails yesterday. I took it to be the most recent post. Thanks for putting me right - and I'm not being sarcastic because it'll make me check in future.

What kind of a hobby makes anyone totally incommunicado?

Rock climbing, pot holing, in this case golf. Phones are strongly discouraged on the golf course.
