I'll start. Sorry for sticking it here, posting for traffic.

Didn't fancy turkey this year so did a beef wellington, with mushroom duxelle & Parma ham inside.
Goose fat roasties with garlic salt and rosemary.
Cinnamon red cabbage
Pan fried sprouts with chestnuts and pancetta
Normal carrots as my 4 year old won't eat them any other way
Pigs in blankets
Homemade yorkies
Waitrose bought stuffing as I don't really like it that much.

Topped with an orange gravy with a red wine stock pot shoved in.

It was delish. Ate early-ish as I have to eat with medication. Thought I'd get in early and ask you all to share your lovely Christmas lunches!

Also highly recommend the meat from Waitrose butcher counter. It's lovely.

Can't show a photo as we've eaten it and packed the leftovers away into containers.We're not great cooks and I have mobility difficulties and can't stand for very long easily. DH and I (both vegetarian) had:

Quorn roast with Quorn cocktail sausages
Garden peas and tinned sweetcorn
Aunt Bessies' Yorkshire puds
Sprouts, carrots, parsnips, shallots and potatoes roasted in olive oil, with dried sage, rosemary and mixed herbs with seasoning
Stuffing made from supermarket packet
Vegetable gravy from granules.

We're staying with my parents, who cooked a small gammon joint for themselves and had meat based gravy, with pigs in blankets, accompanied by all the vegetables mentioned above.

So, nothing Cordon Bleu, but everything was thoroughly enjoyed. I've washed up and am now putting my feet up.😊

Here’s mine, Roast Turkey, extra large pig in blanket, roast potatoes, mashed carrot and swede, pan fried sprouts with bacon and chestnuts and a Yorkshire pudding 😋
followed by an individual homemade trifle as I’m the only one that likes it 😂

We are this buffet style and I did make an oopsie by adding the sprouts (all for me 😆) since DS heaved when I started putting them on my plate…next year I’ll save them til he’s in bed 😂

Didn't see this till we had eaten. I'm stuffed!!!! As usual dp cooked. 2 meats for him and kids ( I'm veggie), roast potatoes, new potatoes, mash, broccoli, roast carrot and parsnips, spring greens ( cuz i love them) stuffing, Yorkshire puddings and gravy . I am literally bursting!! He's a great cook.

Yum. Never took a photo, but ours had turkey, all trimmings. Was nice. Leftovers.

Since we’ve moved and I’ve returned to working full time, my spread has been greatly simplified. This year was ham with a cherry chili pepper glaze, mashed potatoes, gravy, roasted sprouts and red pepper and creamed corn.

I hadn't added the lashings of gravy at the point of the photo 😂 but this is mine:

Turkey parcel stuffed with sage and onion stuffing and wrapped in bacon

Stuffing wrapped in bacon

Maple glazed parsnips and carrots

Was really pleased with this, cooked from scratch whilst my partner kept our one year old occupied! It's just the three of us and there's enough left for dinner for the next two days!

I’m on holiday abroad, so I’ve had to take pot luck with what was available in the local supermarket - seitan, frozen mashed potatoes, frozen mixed veg, paxo stuffing and I’m going to attempt to make a sauce with part of a packet of mushroom soup.

I’m sure you are all jealous…….🤣

I'm thinking these are from southern England generally? Just a thought from the general paucity of gravy!
