My DH explaining the burden of being a man to me this morning.

Which is odd considering markiert men ate happier.
Probably because women do the majority of domestic while single men would actually stand up for themselves.

AAwwww!!!! That's SO cute! When my kiddos were little, we used to have "opposite" day too! We had dinner for breakfast, snacks for lunch and breakfast for dinner. "Yes" became "No" and we tried to see how much we could stay opposite.

But, isn't he a little old for that? Buy him a pregnancy test and when he wonders why, say, "You started opposite day, so I'm just playing along".

I'm confused how we're suppose to vote. Is it, the husband's comment is not unreasonable? Or is it, the op is not unreasonable for possible sarcasm?

I think he means that men tend stay with a partner (because it’s convenient to have wifey looking after him) even if he’s unhappy with the relationship - and only buggers off when he finds another woman to look after him.

Whereas women are happier to ditch a partner that’s bringing nothing to the relationship and be independent.

Still go out a lot/continue with same job/same hobbies etc.

I can think of at least one or two things that suck about being a man but giving up happiness for family isn't one of them.
