Why when writing on here can't you just say the whole word instead of dd mil ect it's really annoying and lazy

The OP is a complete stranger to punctuation on all her posts.

To be honest, I find that more annoying as it can make reading quite difficult.

I'm not great at it, but at least I chuck a few commas in to break it up a bit.

It's "etc" not "ect" (the whole term is "et cetera" meaning, "and other similar things"). FYI.

It's clear to see why you find common abbreviations/acronyms such a challenge.

People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. If you don’t like abbreviations why didn’t you write ‘et cetera’ instead of ‘ect’ - which, as others have pointed out, isn’t even the right abbreviation.

I've just scrolled your posts on AS and you've never used a single comma or full stop. That's far more annoying.

Your post has no punctuation. Not even a full stop at the end. It's really annoying and lazy.
