Why when writing on here can't you just say the whole word instead of dd mil ect it's really annoying and lazy

The OP is a complete stranger to punctuation on all her posts.

To be honest, I find that more annoying as it can make reading quite difficult.

I'm not great at it, but at least I chuck a few commas in to break it up a bit.

It's "etc" not "ect" (the whole term is "et cetera" meaning, "and other similar things"). FYI.

People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. If you don’t like abbreviations why didn’t you write ‘et cetera’ instead of ‘ect’ - which, as others have pointed out, isn’t even the right abbreviation.
