I've been rewatching Upstairs Downstairs, and it's superb. Add it to your list, OP!

Used to love Call My Bluff! It was a bit twee but it had a certain charm and cosiness that I loved.

Are you defining ‘tv’ very narrowly as traditional channels watched in a linear fashion? Because I reckon most people watch some sort of moving images on a screen. I call all that ‘tv’ as long as it’s not cinema.
But millions watch it in your narrowly defined way too.

I watched an American TV show called 'Providence' on itv when I was a kid. It reminds me of the summer, as I'd watch it during the holidays. Can't find it anywhere.

When they brought gladiators back, I did think the generation game would be a good one to bring back to life.

I’d love to see a remake of ‘Just Good Friends’. Vince & Pen. Fab. How could play them?

They've been showing old episodes of "Call My Bluff" on BBC4 recently and I forgot how simple, yet entertaining, a programme it was.

I'd love to see a modern day version of it!

I think they've tried TGG a few times but never managed to make it work. Some things were just of their time I guess.

Reruns yes. I don’t think you could remake a lot of the old favourites because time has changed everything.
