A great day for child safeguarding, this is evidence, reason and medical expertise over pressure groups.

A terrible shame for those children that this is too late for, who have been permanently harmed by ideologues and will never be able to have their body back the way it should have grown.

People have done the research, that's how they know what you're saying isn't true.

Well I suppose I can't force you to believe the truth but you really ought to do more talking to the people who were actually there.

SinnerBoy · 18/12/2024 01:34

Yes, it really is utterly false. From other posts, you must be aware that I was giving you the benefit of doubt, but no more.

I see you.

I suggest you do some research before shouting at me about falsehoods. The indignation on display here from you is really quite interesting.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 18/12/2024 02:02

How about you back up your unlikely claims, @ButterflyHatched? Because it looks like no one is inclined just to take your word for it. That's fine, we don't have to agree.

ButterflyHatched · 18/12/2024 01:30

No, it really isn't. I'm surprised you aren't already aware.

Then post proof! But you won't, you never post proof of any of your lies.

SinnerBoy · 18/12/2024 06:30

No, it really isn't. I'm surprised you aren't already aware.

I'm aware that it's a lie you repeat constantly, the figures are clear on this. You decline to produce evidence every time you're asked and for good reason, the evidence counters your propaganda.

You weren't there, you're a LARPer. Pics or it didn't happen.

For anyone new to this, here's an excellent explanation by a leading psychiatrist / psychoanalyst Dr David Bell - one of the original whistleblowers who exposed the scandal happening at GIDS - the Gender Identity Service. He's talking about the explosion of girls thinking their bodies are flawed but a sex change will cure them. He's well worth listening to, not just for his professional insight but for his compassion for confused children and young people:

'Puberty blockers were first used in the UK in 2011, as an uncontrolled research study. There was no consistent improvement in psychological well-being or other mental health outcome measures (a contrast to the original Dutch study) and 98% of the group given puberty blockers went on to use gender-affirming hormones (GAH). In 2014, puberty blockers were routinely made available in clinical care in the UK, a move which the Cass review describes as having ‘unclear…rationale’.' Source: https://www.rcgp.org.uk/

So, 10 to 13 years ago, Butterfly? And you were 16 then and are now 25 to 29? Or were you not based in the UK, or not obtaining PBs from a UK source?

@ApriCat Butterfly has already stated up thread that they're in their 40s.

Any claims of having been on puberty blockers as a child or teen is an outright lie.

As are many of the other spurious claims they make on MN.

GnRH agonists were prescribed for gender incongruent youth prior to 2011 in the UK.

The early intervention trial started in 2011.
