What kind of things do they like in general? Have they got good stamina ? I suppose it depends how they live their lives. Would love some feedback on things like -

My DH is 61 and runs marathons so I imagine plenty of 56yo have similar stamina. He likes running stuff, books, red wine, whisky and chocolate!

OP, in one of your other posts you say you were born in the early 1970s. Assuming that means you were born some time between 1970 and 1974, you are only been two and six years younger than this man. You are the same generation. You would have probably have been at school at the same time as him. Why are you acting as if he's much older than you? In adult terms you're basically the same age. Why would he have less stamina than you or be into different things?!
