Dee Devlin (Conor McGregor's partner) victim blaming a rape victim

Conor has posted a few times, then deleted, check tatt.le.life thread for the screenshots...but this from Dee is crazy...he went out cheating on you at 8 months pregnant, he's had at least 5 sexual assault claims, he is linked to Irish gangster, he publicly cheated on you several times and poor Nikita was badly bruised and had to have a tampon removed via forceps....will Dee be warning her daughter of men like her father?

Nikita was offered more money to settle than she's got here, so the idea that she did this for financial reasons is idiotic.

Attention? Fame? Maybe she thought she’d get more? Who knows what goes on in someone else’s head.

He's a rotten scumbag, hopefully he crosses his scummy gangland friends and he disappears.

I don't think his partner can leave, I'd doubt he would allow it and his Kinihan mates would certainly deal with her. His sister is with one of their enforcers.

Didn’t know that about the BIL - I knew he looked like a bad one though.

So you think even if consenting to sex then, that it is OK for a world champion MMA fighter to beat a woman black and blue during the act? Nice.

It doesn’t matter how she behaved. It doesn’t matter what she did. If at any point in the night she said “no” and he continued to have sex with her she is a victim of rape.

There was zero evidence that she had sex with James Lawrence, and certainly nothing about ‘in full view’ of anybody.
Nikita is adamant she did not have sex with Lawrence and none of his DNA was found.
He’s a patsy.

Really?? This article must be wrong then?

@Holymoleyitscold yes I read that the friend claimed to have consensual sex with her. Contrary to your response to another poster, this alleged intercourse was not in front of anyone else. There were no witnesses to that. I also read that she has no recollection of it and there was no DNA evidence to support it. It's a pretty common theory that Connor and his friend claimed this to discredit her. Connor conveniently paid his legal bills.

Regardless of your views of this woman's intentions or capabilities as a mother, she was assaulted. This has been proven in a court of law. I sincerely hope that you aren't exposing any of these beliefs to your children if you have them.

Funny enough I wouldn’t expose my children to anything like this unlike the two people discussed.

Blaming the victim of a sexual assault that left her injured and needing assistance at hospital isn't a great look.

No wonder these men feel entitled to continue

Superworm24 · 27/11/2024 11:23

What do you want his partner to say? You think he doesn't knock her about? Rape her? She's probably scared for her life.

Raffaelli · 27/11/2024 11:08

@Raffaelli Absolutely not. Have I not described McGregor as evil and without morals?

Tiredandteasytoday · 27/11/2024 11:25

vibratosprigato · 27/11/2024 10:50

@Holymoleyitscold if you read about the case you would also know that she was pretty much covered head to toe in bruising (all four limbs, her neck, her hands etc). She had to have her tampon removed with forceps because it was lodged at the top of her vagina. Staff said they either hadn't seen anything so severe before, or hadn't for a long time. She had her house broken into, her partner stabbed etc.

I find it pretty repugnant that you say you don't have any sympathy for this woman.

Maybe she did want to party with him, it's not unusual for young women to seek attention from rich, influential, celebrities. That does not mean that those men are within their rights to beat and rape those women after supplying them with drugs and alcohol.

This woman has never tried to present herself as perfect, that was made quite clear in the trial. It doesn't mean she had it coming to her though and that sentiment is foul.

Awful isn't it that some mumsnetters think she asked for it. What century do we live in.

Appalling how women excuse men, especially rich, well known men. Apparently she deserved it is alive and well on MN.

vibratosprigato · 27/11/2024 11:26

@Holymoleyitscold glad to hear it. I'm curious though, what do you think Nikita should have done after being raped and assaulted?

Do you think she should have swept it under the carpet because she initiated contact that night and took drugs and alcohol? Was she wrong to seek justice?

It would be better for her to stfu.

No matter what her opinion is.

I also saw a video on Instagram of Connor touching another woman flirtatiously in front of his wife.

Im not blaming her. My orginal post was that I don’t understand the vigils - people turning out to show their support. At what point do people have to take some responsibility for their actions?

if I deliberately decide to bring myself into the company of and go to the hotel room of a notorious monster to get drugged up, a man who has been accused of sexual assault before and whose reputation as a moral-less egomaniac I’d expect trouble. She was a mother, with a partner out with a group off friends - she made choices and I get it very hard to believe that she didn’t know these choices would put her in a very dangerous situation.

It would be better if @MNHQ could do something, at least 2 of us have reported

Hobnobswantshernameback · 27/11/2024 11:38

I could walk down a street naked off my tits on drugs with a sign saying rape me

absolutely fucking nothings woman does makes rape anything other than the fault of the man

Don’t be daft but I’ll try my best and raise my daughters so that they won’t fraternise with monsters like McGregor. I’ll also try and raise them to realise that every choice has consequences and we have to do our best to make the right choices.

SkunderlaiSkendi · 27/11/2024 11:47

Shes probably as much a victim

A victim of DV, gaslighting, abuse, normalising abuse, etc etc

Shes now standing by her man and blindly believing his shit

I would not want her life.

ContactNightmare · 27/11/2024 11:49

Why is there much idea that the wife is better than her husband? They both sound like self absorbed scumbags. He’s a monster according to the courts and she is along for the ride. No wonder the victim went public.
