I have been seeing someone for a month he keeps telling me that he loves me & I don’t know how to tell him to take it a bit slower?

  • I have been dating someone for around a month now. We have met on two occasions. The first first was just a brief date over a drink or two.
  • We ended up meeting each other over the weekend, he invited me over to his place. I came on the Friday left on the Sunday.
  • We literally spent the time talking and getting to know each other more, the conversation was flowing non stop no awkward breaks or anything like that inbetween.
  • I think we have both had around 4 hours sleep over the past 2 days . We spent the time together just talking and have sex, when we was just lead in bed cuddling he telling me he loves me he mentioned this several times but I just let it blow over. He was also saying I’m full of him and he wants me to have his baby’s.
  • Every time he finished he told me that he is going to get me pregnant. I am no where ready for a child but he has said that multiple times to me now that he wants a baby and our own family together. What can I say to him please? I do really like him but I don’t want to rush into things, I have briefly mentioned this to him but I don’t think he acknowledges this.

( I am on contraception)

First of all, don’t have sex without a condom with guys you barely know. That’s an express ticket to STDs and worse.

Ditch the crazy creepy impregnating man. Get yourself tested.

He’s got enough red flags to be seen from space. Block his number. You are worth so much more that this.

Helpisonitswaydear · 18/11/2024 10:01

Run and don't look back!!!!

Serious red flags here, it will not end up well.

Love bombing creep.

TheDogBartholomew · 18/11/2024 10:05

The man's a weirdo.

Run. This is not healthy behaviour

This answer has nailed it .

TheFormidableMrsC · 18/11/2024 10:08

This is classic love bombing. He'll propose next. My ex husband did this to me. I wish I had realised the list of red flags but I was incredibly stupid and thought it was all wonderful. Don't be me. The love bombing soon stops. Then they show you what they are. Get rid. Don't look back.

SwerveCity · 18/11/2024 10:11

Ew.

jenny38 · 18/11/2024 10:15

When you start a new relationship there is an element of uncertainty, this is natural and normal. What this man is saying to you is not based on reality, he doesn't know you well enough. He sound emotionally immature and unstable. This is not the way to build a healthy relationship. I'm betting this would progress to jealousy if you talk to friends, wanting to control you etc.
Please don't continue to see him, he's not a good long term bet. And if there is any suggestion your contraception might have been unreliable, or God forbid, you didn't use any, go get the morning after pill.

SoManyTshirts · 18/11/2024 10:16

Anyone can get a bit carried away having new relationship sex for a whole weekend. I’d write it all off as sex talk and, if you like him and he keeps in reasonable contact between meetings suggest a shorter date next time!

Equally, spending the whole weekend with him on second meeting is rushing it on your part too. Been there, done that, it doesn’t help you get a proper appreciation of what this man is like before you bond.

GET. OUT. NOW.

He wants to trap you, be very careful.

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 18/11/2024 10:21

Gross.

thisoldcity · 18/11/2024 10:29

I agree with pp obviously - run.

But, this is the first time I've heard of a 'breeding kink' and I'm very old and thought I'd heard of everything. Explains a lot I suppose.

SharpSnake · 18/11/2024 10:31

So he has said to me that he is infertile he said to me out of all the girls he’s slept with he hasn’t got anyone pregnant & then proceeded to them tell me he wants to get me pregnant it did make me feel a bit awkward so I just changed the conversation but he would still keep making little comments about it here and there. I did actually mention the morning after pill just make sure it’s bulletproof, he said no I’m not killing his baby but started laughing after and kind of played it of as a joke. I still have time to go and get the morning after pill today, I didn’t think it would be needed as I have the coil but to be on the extra safe side I will go and get one today.

Why are you not using condoms?!

I have never heard about the breeding kink before so I’m going to look into it I have heard about love bombing that’s why I was sceptical when he kept saying it. He must of told me he loves me about 15 times & last night before bed “ I really really like you a lot I am in love you” I just replied with goodnight. I think he can see I’m avoiding saying it back to him. But that’s because I don’t really even know him & I just want to take it slow and see where things between us go. I do like him I think he’s a nice person but I am defiantly not in love

I hold my hands up I definently should have used protection with him, I wasn’t really planning to go to his it just kind of happened. I was out having drinks with my sister and friend we ended up calling it a night and then he asked me to come and see him which I did. He was already sat drinking so we just carried on drinking and then one thing just lead to the other.

This is incredibly irresponsible, OP.

potatocakesinprogress · 18/11/2024 10:39

You had sex with him (and without condoms) the second time you met him after knowing him a few weeks, there is no part of that which is taking things slow or signalling to him you want to take things slow.

The more you pull back now the more extreme he's going to get. He'll probably be sending you 100 messages a day by tomorrow, sending you AI pictures of your fake babies by the weekend, and licking your windows with his hand on his dick by next week.

User364837 · 18/11/2024 10:41

You think he’s a nice person? You want to “see where things go”? Are we reading the same thread 🤣

This is… Far Fetched!

TheTruthICantSay · 18/11/2024 10:41

You need to put the brakes on massively. Stop having unprotected sex with men you don't know - it's not just about contraception. Are you not worried about STDs? You were there ALL weekend... one of you couldn't pop out to buy condoms at some point?

And this man's love bombing and hugely inappropraite declarations of love and comments about getting you pregnant are actually terrifying. YOu should walk away.

FoxtrotOscarFoxtrotOscar · 18/11/2024 10:43

"I don't want to rush things" 😆😂

Yes, and the fact that the OP can’t see this is almost as alarming as her having unprotected sex all weekend with a total stranger with a breeding fetish.
