currently stuck in a career I’m not happy in. Would love to find something I love and leave the corporate world for good.

If you love your job what is it that you do?

I teach.

I teach too and love it

Architectural technician. I basically draw up people's home improvements, extensions, etc for planning permission.

I work in a men's prison

Planner. Big strategic stuff and evidencing and writing planning policy for 30+ year visions.

Hairdresser here, absolutely love it!

I'm in corporate (tech) so not much help 😂

But I used to work as a manager in a retail warehouse and was surprised at how many people quit the corporate world and joined on minimum wage. Some of it takes getting used to (micromanaging/treated like an idiot sometimes/customers!) but I found a few stuck around and actually enjoyed the novelty of moving around/not being stuck behind a desk.

Relocation Consultant, I absolutely love it
I did it pre Covid and came back to it last year and I am so glad most days.
Downsides are that its Freelance so while its well paid its not steady, and Lettings Agents

I'm a teacher.

Sometimes it drives me crazy but I love it and, on days like today especially, I can't imagine ever wanting to do anything else.

Social worker. I love my job.

Have cottages I rent out as holiday accommodation. Have taken time out due to recent surgery and more to come. I won't go back to it, but not sure what job to do next.

I work in brand/marketing consultancy. But it wouldn't be for everyone.

I am a carer. Money is not very good but I love the people I work with, they really are amazing.
I would love to be a nurse in mental health.
Unfortunately I am just not academic enough
