I do appreciate the hugs and offer of a chat, sometimes it’s just knowing someone is there that helps. I actually arranged some counselling today so I can talk through the things weighing on my mind. I’ve imposed on my friends’ ears enough. I’m lucky to have the safety nets I do.

You and I should both try to get some sleep now! Hopefully your medication changes will help with that too.

Forgot to say, was listening to some of the songs on your heartbreak and survive list as I’ve had “I can do it with a broken heart” on repeat for ages so it was nice to have a variation on the same theme! Also, I looked for Black Tulip in my local M&S but disappointingly they didn’t have it!

Good morning Laura and everyone! I had an earworm of Pink Try right up to brushing my teeth last night and again waking up this morning. I seen her in concert many years ago and she is an amazing performer. I'm not surprised you haven't been focused on your health with all that's gone by recently. We really can only handle so much at a time but please try! Great news on the house. I would say the MP chased that up and it would have been treated with priority. My work place would jump to attention for something like this. I did some stew and a lasagne yesterday. The teabag worked a treat on the messy pots so thanks for that.

Hope you slept well Laura and that today brings something positive whatever that may be . I just had a look at Until I kill you. It sounds really good, I’ll earmark for when DP is at his as he doesn’t like to watch anything scary or unsettling! The new Hugh grant film sounded interesting but quite scary.

Im lazing in bed with a cup of tea but really should get up now! My boss is away so no coffee shop meeting today that we usually do. At least I don’t have to be outdoors presentable as it’ll just be me and the cat 😁.

Oh I love pink and especially that song. So jealous that you saw her in concert, that must have been amazing.

I think the last concert I went to was prince so shows how long ago that was 😳.

Would you believe I was just reading the news online earlier and one of the pictures of the day was Pink in concert suspended high in air mid routine. I won't be able to escape her now I bet! I would have loved to have seen Prince RIP. I'm just too old for the hassle of a gig now - too many people 😂

My UTI drama continues as I displayed some signs of allergic response to the penicillin, so have to stop it and await an alternative.

Loving the reminiscing about gigs. I saw the Police in my mid-sized, southern town when I was about 15 and they were starting out. One of them (Stewart Copland?) signed my arm!

@Apolloneuro sorry you have thrown an reaction to the penicillin. That happened to me when I was 17 following numerous bouts of tonsillitis. I now have to only have non penicillin based antibiotics and have a red warning band put on if I go into hospital. Hope you get suitable antibiotics to get that UTI cleared up and feel better soon.

Hi @nornironlady and hi everybody else. I’m just snuggled under my quilt as can’t get warm today and my tonsils feel a-bit swollen when I swallow . I hope you are ok? I love that song! She’s an amazing performer isn’t she , I bet it was amazing seeing her in concert.
It really is great news about the house , I’m hoping with everything I’ve got that I get a phone call about it this week. Do you work in the public sector?Oh your meals you made sound lovely , I love how you can put all different types of veg and flavours in both of those. Tea bag trick is brilliant isn’t it!xx

Hi @AdmittowearingCrocs How’s your day going? Good I hope.
I didn’t have a great sleep and also throat hurts when I swallow and feels swollen. I will keep an eye on it though, last time I had swollen tonsils I had to spend 80 mins in an MRI machine , that was torture!
Thank you for the link for the household fund. I will have a look at it . My support worker did mention about some grants once I’ve got a home , I will have to swallow my pride and ask for help with what I can xx
