I was hoping that Kamala would be a shoo-in for the presidency, but looking at the betting odds, I’m feeling quite pessimistic.
It’s incomprehensible to me that a convicted felon, racist, rapist, liar and misogynist who spurred on an insurrection - after everything that’s happened - is running for office again and may very well win.
It’s comforting to read though that fellow Brits DON’T support him.

I was baffled till I heard someone on the radio explaining it really is all about abortion. So many groups who should hate him actually hate a woman’s right to choose more. I know people who are pro life who are prolife for other reasons than mysogyny. I don't agree with them but I can respect their opinion. But Trump and his crowd don't have any problem with embryos being destroyed for IVF for example. He boasted about being the father of IVF and musk has almost certainly used sex selective IVF to have his kids (which definitely involves the destruction of female embryos). So it so transparently isn't about "life" but about controlling someone else's body.
