That’s just it really. I really need a cuddle but that’s not possible so can anybody just support me right now? My mental health is on the floor right now I’ve never felt as low it’s making me feel so ill

I miss them desperately and feel completely lost without them I’ve never been away from them for so long but I would hate if they was going through this with me and I would hate to put them somewhere unsafe. I keep telling myself that they are happy, warm, fed and clothed. Sometimes it helps a lot of the time it doesn’t xx

Don't think that far ahead. The council have a couple of days, and more to the point, they have a couple of days of having pressure put on them from people like MPs.

Wow, my mum has just messaged me asking how I am . I told her that because I was homeless and on the streets last night until the police found me I feel absolutely rotten and her reply was ‘xx’ !

Hi @Imbluedalale I have just looked up the details of the chief executive of Doncaster city council.
See below. Please email him and explain your situation and that the domestic abuse you have experienced plus your cancer and paralysis/disabilities. Tell him about how you have been spoken to, unsuitable accommodation you were offered and why you cannot go there. Also tell him about being told not expecting the Ritz.
Include the incident at the train station and police finding you. Hope this helps 🌺

And you absolutely deserve to be placed somewhere that meets your needs. Sounds like the manager is just focused on funding only, the manager at the homeless team in the council I worked at would have gone above and beyond to help someone like you.

Some of the hotels used for the homeless are horrendous, I absolutely understand why you wont go there x

I know but it deeply hurts . She will text me again in a few days asking me if I’m ok and I’ll say no I’m not ok and then she’ll just ignore me again. I’ve just texted her and told her I tried to end my life last night she hasn’t replied .

I honestly don’t know what I’ve done to deserve this . It’s heartbreaking.
I might not have my family and I might not have a home but what you lose you gain and I’ve gained a whole army of selfless wonderful amazing people and I’ll forever be grateful xx

You are awesome, and again I am lost for words at your awesomeness and fortitude. You have been dealt a dreadful hand, and you have not deserved any of that dreadfulness. What you have deserved is all the good stuff - the good things that happen to you, and that people do. Never ever forget that even in the shittest of shit times, you brighten the world for the people around you who care about you, and that is a rare rare gift.

Copy your MP into the email too so he knows they are aware. Things might get moving then.

I’m still being sick unfortunately so I can’t stomach anything , feel like my tummy is in absolute knots.
I have a shower and a bath it’s got rails on it so I think I might run a bath soon to see if it makes me feel better xx

I feel terrified for the future and I feel terrified that my survival is based on the councils decision on where they put me when they have shown me nothing but disregard and lack of compassion and understanding. I’m terrified xx

You are going forwards, step by painful step, and please trust me you are awesome!

As to what kind of mum - the best kind, ie the kind that is trying her hardest to get well for them, and in the meantime has ensured they are safe and cared for, even thought that means she misses them hugely. You are a good mum, dealing with an awful situation, but a good mum nonetheless.

You have a lot of people fighting in your corner my friend, and the council know that, judging by their replies. I think between the police and MPs and everyone else, they will have to provide something better for you.

Have that bath and then have more tea!

Have a bath, put your pj's on, get into bed and comfy and watch some TV or listen to music, you must be exhausted xx

So the manager at the council has emailed my support worker to say that they have been told I’m staying at the premier inn until Saturday so they will look at it again on Friday and see if there is any accommodation available. I could honestly scream!

BUT… they would have had no available accommodation for me tonight anyway

Don’t panic about that. That gives you tomorrow to email the Chief Executive, copying in your MP. Do that first thing in the morning.

For now bath and bed. Please try to eat a little something. It might settle your stomach. Watch Corrie in bed. Xxx
