I'm just curious really!

Mine is £99 combined direct debit per month based on estimated use and I'm in credit which is handy for over the winter.

3 bed house, two adults, one child.

I'm just wondering if what I'm paying is about average.

My direct debit is £113 per month. Actual usage varies from around £60pm in summer months, £200pm in the coldest months. I am in a 2 bed flat but it's all electric and electric heating is pricier.

£200 a month combined. 3 bed semi. 2 adults and 2 children. A little bit of credit. Surprised some of these figures are so low.

We went all electric in April. No gas at all now. Not cheap initially but should pay for itself. Had our first quarterly bill £250. So 62.50 per month. 3 bed semi 2 adults.

How can you have no electricity standing charge?

Standing charge can't be higher than consumption charge

I pay monthly for what we’ve used. Last months was just under £100 combined. 3 bed semi, me + 2 teenagers.

happybee1 · 17/10/2024 02:05

Pay £176, 3/4 bed Edwardian detached with family of 5 but we are not in credit so they are putting it up to £220 😞. It seems we are paying top end prices, may have to look at comparison sites.

£334 pm for gas and electricity. Four adults in house.

Copperoliverbear · 17/10/2024 05:04

My gas is in with my rent just over £60 per week and electric between £100 and £120 a month

Copperoliverbear · 17/10/2024 05:07

By the way I mean the gas is just over £60 a week not the rent.

£98.33 combined a month. We live in a 2 bed 1960s cottage flat. Sometimes known as a four in a block.

I added my monthly reading’s yesterday. £150 in credit and as our tariff was ending we have switched to a new tariff £112 a month for the next year.
