Has anyone else got the email being invited to the ballot for the new dates?

I suppose just wait for resales. The whole process has really fucked me off. I feel like I only want to go now to throw bottles of piss at them to vent my frustration

I'm gutted. Not for myself but DH genuinely wants to go and we've had such a terrible year that I thought this would be a nice treat. It's turned in to further disappointment though.

No ballot email here. I was in the original ballot (no joy) and was queuing for hours last Saturday.

My email came through just after midnight. Saw the tweet so checked my emails and it was there. Confirmation came through immediately

Annoyingly it’s only 2 as we were a group of 3 trying last week. If I get a code then will have a look but not spending another full day in a queue

Got the email, just waiting for the confirmation to come through.

Disappointed it’s only 2 tickets per person. The whole thing has left a sour taste in my mouth, I wasted a full day last Saturday getting to the front of the queue and then being kicked out, then selecting tickets and being kicked out on repeat. Feels like I’m now back in the queue to join the queue 🙄.

If my son wasn’t so desperate to go I wouldn’t bother.

It's not financially fleecing when it's a luxury and people are willing to spend the money on it. Everyone has different priorities.

That’s what I got-I think we will get another email that we have to confirm on. It’s pretty painful though as you have to agree to emails and texts from Oasis and I certainly don’t want that!

I've not had an invitation email overnight - does anyone know if that's it or if they are still being sent out until some later time today? Haven't been able to find any details around an end time for invitations....

But wasn't it more the promoters and oasis management that took the decision to switch to dynamic pricing? Ticketmaster does as the client requests. It's a terrible policy.

No but it's annoying. We missed out, need 3 but can only buy 2 in the ballot

Someone DH works worth got 4 for Heaton Park, one for him and his wife and sold the other two and made money on them. I can't even wish the tickets get cancelled because it's not fair on the person who bought them off hum! He pretty much sold them at a price that made his tickets free.

Their Instagram page said emails will be sent overnight, so I think we won't get one now.
I was in the queue for specific shows not just the website and don't have one either 😫

I don’t know whose decision it was. I’ve blocked and avoided anything that might rub my nose in not getting tickets as I was that fucked off with the whole thing. 😂

I registered almost two weeks ago for the first ballot and it took 12hrs for my confirmation email to come through.

Nope, had nothing. Will ask dh as he also signed up last time. Idk why we just can’t buy them normally.
I heard from someone involved in the ticket industry that they’ll
be another two dates at Wembley, but don’t quote me on that! Even he’s trying for his own tickets as he only sells hospitality ones that are going for 2K apparently 🤦‍♀️

For all our modern high tech world I do wonder who benefits from it. I am old (54!), I live near Wembley and have been at a lot of concerts from 1984 onwards. Back in the day we either phoned or queued at the box office and got our tickets or turned up on the day and bought from the touts if the price was ok. Even worked there occasionally. The tickets were obtainable to ordinary people. There was no VIP, all tickets the same price. You legged it to the front when doors opened. Life was much simpler!

I hope that for those of you who manage to get tickets it is as enjoyable as you hope for.

I also think that the law needs to be changed to end anything remotely like this for large stadium events at the very least.

Who benefits- a few large companies, spivs and chancers. Maybe even worse than estate agents.

i also think it’s totally fair and the right thing to do to sell 2 tickets pp. gives more people and families the opportunity and less likely to have cases as above where people overbuy and then resell. People are such selfish aresholes when it comes to stuff like this!
