Has anyone else got the email being invited to the ballot for the new dates?

Nothing here either :(

Squeezetheday · 13/09/2024 19:56

Nothing here either 😭 although slightly relieved to not have to spend ££££ on tickets or do battle on Ticketmaster again

Hopebridge · 13/09/2024 19:58

Nothing and apparently all the codes have been sent :(

Itisjustmyopinion · 13/09/2024 20:01

Out of everyone I know that applied I was the only one that got a code. I happened to check my emails just as the registration email came in (was during the night and having a couldn’t sleep night). Registered and acknowledged straight away while everyone else I know didn’t do it until the morning

Not sure if it was a first come, first served thing but made me think why I got one

Annoying that it’s only 2 after it being 4 last time and even if I get on tomorrow I am not going to go high in price. Let’s see how much Ticketmaster can screw it up this time

mrshoho · 13/09/2024 20:05

No code for me

BoilingHotand50something · 13/09/2024 20:17

@Itisjustmyopinion i was also wide awake in the middle of the night and responded straight away. But no code for me! 😢

no codes here

I've not had one. Bit disappointed in a way but equally relieved not to have the horror of ticketmaster again. I think they've probably made sure that everyone with a code will get 2 tickets which is fair enough I guess.

They've been fairly explicit that codes don't guarantee tickets so I expect we'll still have disappointed people

mrshoho · 13/09/2024 22:40

So was anyone successful in getting a code?

No code for any of us but when I’ve looked on YouTube at the standing crowd surges I’m not sure it’d be for me

TheGlitterFairy · 14/09/2024 06:44

No code for me either

I completely relate to this. I actually found it all so bloody stressful. I was so over it that Saturday, hours and hours spent trying to get on to the websites, waiting in queues, constantly being kicked out, being told I’m a bot. It was so draining!

I actually have some work to do tomorrow and juggling that and trying to buy tickets would have been even more stressful.

i have seen them quite a few times, including Knebworth though I am gutted for my DC who really wanted tickets.

OH, well.

Same here am so over it all now ... hours of queuing to get through to tickets then be booted ! Never again for me ... seen them many times back in their prime so am happy enough .X

Chickydoo · 13/09/2024 18:15

Out of 4 of us in the family...no codes...

4 of us too and no codes .X

Lex345 · 14/09/2024 07:19

No code here and completed the registration for the ballot early. Hopefully those that have codes have a better tine of it than last week. Pretty sure it will be epic and everyone who does get tickets will have a great time!

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 14/09/2024 08:54

No code for me either. Really wanted tickets for DSs 21st, which just happens to be the weekend of the new Wembley dates. Disappointing.

Itisjustmyopinion · 14/09/2024 09:24

Tickets purchased for a normal price and no stress. See if they want to they can actually make Ticketmaster work

Word of warning for those in the later queues (I know a few said yesterday that they were on the 12 queue) - buy the extra ticket insurance for £5 per ticket as there is a warning box that I nearly missed saying that standard Ticketmaster coverage will not cover the band cancelling which is a very high possibility

RedToothBrush · 14/09/2024 09:26

Interesting - no queue to get onto Ticketmaster website.

There is a message saying
Latest Updates
09:08 AM
UPDATE: Standing and £74.45 tickets in the 08:30 sale for Saturday 27 September are no longer available. There are currently more ticket options for the Sunday show, you can join the queue

Twitter is quiet. Not much drama (this is good).

I do note complaints about September shows already being on resellers.

And people trying to sell lots of X3 tickets and X4 tickets for shows you could only buy pairs of tickets for.

But otherwise this is, so far, looking like a much better way to do things.

Will be interesting to see if people complain at 10am about having not got tickets.

BigBundleOfFluff · 14/09/2024 09:27

@Itisjustmyopinion

Well done! I'm in the 3.30 slot. What worked well for you? When did you join the queue etc and did you just use the link from your email?!?

RedToothBrush · 14/09/2024 09:27

(important point in there for later queues - less demand for Sunday tickets.)

Yeah just the link from my email about 20 minutes before. When I got in there was about 3500 ahead of me and took about 5 minutes to clear the queue

I had the code written down too as I was going from the link on my email so didn’t want to have to go back and get it in case that made me come out of the queue. You don’t put the code in until you are about to select the tickets

I'm not sure how they'd get round that? Surely then they're not delivering the service you've paid for so they'd be obliged to refund you?

I think we have seen over the last few weeks that Ticketmaster/Live Nation do not have any integrity anyway so wouldn’t be surprised that there is a loophole they can get through

Since it was only £4.95 a ticket we thought it was better to be safe than sorry
